Agree GF, SGP chart looks good now. Trend reversal about 3 weeks ago. Significant move up today on decent volume. Let's hope the management don't mess up like they did a few months back which hit the share price hard. Lots of ups and down to the share price, but overall trend looks positive.

i've looked at SGP a couple of times but not ventured anywhere near it as it is very illiquid; but then i steer clear of ASC too except to watch it idly
i don't really know how highly NXT's shares are valued, but as i have posted before, i very much like the direction in which the company is heading ..... their menswear used to be very montague burton and womenswear little better than m&s .... they have now smartened up their image considerably and also (a bit belatedly) got into the on-line market
===========
HWDN has an interesting concept that looks to be working well ..... their idea of working from their depots/warehouses saves hugely on expensive retail sites a la magnet
their market is aimed more at the lower end, but their range of finishes etc is not at all bad ..... though HWDN will deal with the general public, their lack of showrooms per se, makes it difficult for the laymen to visualise what is on offer and quite what they want or need ..... i do not know if HWDN also have bread-and-butter contracts with some of the bigger developers, who will place large orders, albeit with tighter margins

SGP - very very strange ..... trading volume is usually well under 200,000 but today was 2.6 million!

I guessed it was something like that.
No, not a problem - although some people might be a bit dubious about downloading a strange file.

ahhhhh right skinny. Sorry about that mate, from this week they have started charging for all services bar the morning market report, which is a shame as they were pretty good.

I like that JDW chart although it looks like it could revert to mean on the shorter term EMA.

strewth mate .... you guys have nothing to learn from me ..... as well publicised, i never do any research but read other peoples' and then just make up my mind whether or not i like what i see
my sole pearly of wisdom is also well-posted - never be afraid to bank a decent profit as a profit isn't a profit until it's in the bank
the only/great advantage of backing (or shorting) sectors or stock indices is that one isn't reliant on the performance of a single share
the disadvantage, is that these sector/index positions can be pretty heavyweight, and the subject itself, fairly volatile
btw, just for general info ..... IG CFD's no longer have any commission attaching .... thus one is dealing solely on what you see on L2, which is of course true and real time prices ....
IG also have another little positive
any trade will be done at the time you click, rather than the instant or few seconds later while the deal is carried out (electronically of course)
