TFC,

My interpretation of the article was that the negotiations would be initiated following successful well tests, which have not yet been completed. I fully expect them to be completed successfully in the next couple of weeks and then the price will rise.

Short term, I expect a drop. Initially, I did think to 130, as you say, but now I think 140-145 is more realistic.

STRONG SUPPORT AT 158!

niceonecyril - 10 Jan 2006 19:40 - 276 of 2511

From a post from another board. After conversation with George Donne,
confirming,
Well103 and 106 meet minimum work requirement.
Well106 2b spudded "2kms east of Well104, and considered an appraisal well".
Well105 is a exploration well 2b spudded in a different structure.
Kemerkol proceeding on schedule.
This imho is just the type of news required to inspire confidence if any was needed?

From British Bulls yesterday:

Victoria Oil & Gas PLC
Daily Commentary

Our system posted a SELL CONFIRMED today. The previous BUY recommendation that was confirmed was made on 16.12.2005 (27) days ago, when the stock price was 86.0000. Since then VOG has gained 85.47% .

Were you eager to sell your shares? Without doubt, it was the right time to do so. Maybe, you were even courageous enough for a short sale. If you have done so, it is even better.

If not and you still have shares, it is not very late. The next session will give you the opportunity to sell them at a suitable price.

Will just make the one post as don't wish to intrude further but a couple of months ago in this thread I mentioned an Ofex stock called Heritage Petroleum (Oex:HEP) which made an even bigger find than VOG and traded amazingly at 1p. Now 4p market cap 1.6 million (1/100th of VOG btw) and plenty more to come imho. Hope some of you got in, though you still can at an incredible price.

Now back to VOG.........

Victoria Oil says West Medvezhye gas field holds 1.1 bln boe
AFX

LONDON (AFX) - Victoria Oil & Gas PLC said its entire West Medvezhye license block in Western Siberia is potentially containing recoverable hydrocarbon resources of around 1.1 bln barrels of oil equivalent.

The estimates were based on the outcome of the latest feasibility study checked by independent auditor DeGolyer & MacNaughton.

According to the study, around 5.5 trln cubic feet of gas, 146 mln barrels of gas condensate, and 25 mln barrels of oil could be recovered from the field.

'These estimated prospective recoverable resources are dependent on successful discovery and development of the prospects evaluated,' the company said in a statement.

Victoria Oil added it is currently testing the discovery well, known as 104. It will also start drilling two new holes, 106 and 103, next month.

Test results for 104 will be known within the first quarter of the year, it said.
