Could someone please point me at some definitive information on this, other than the press release.

I have searched the Samsung mobile website and Galaxy S applications site and can find no mention of Blinkx. I have talked to some people who seemed fairly clued up at the local Vodafone shop and they had never heard of Blinkx and could not find any reference to it on their Galaxy S phones and were unable to find any downloads despite 30minutes of trying. This is a pity because they thought it sounded "cool".

I am starting to wonder whether it is actually being shipped yet.

Ahhh, now I see where you are getting confused. Apologies for not seeing that in your last post, but I believe that SamsungApps is the elite selection of apps , not the Android App shop. However, I will just double check that and get back to you if I find any different.

At least we seem to be accepting that there should not be a problem re "blink Beat" being available in SamsungApps in China following todays news that the Galaxy S is about to be launced there. We already know there will be no problem in India when the Samsung Tab is launched there next month - so we are all happy. I love it when everyone is happy
