Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

lying about what?
that none of the 3 companies i mention have proper flowing oil?
that RKH, FOGL etc etc are just diddly-squat blue sky companies?
that majors will be more interested in buying companies that have already done the hard work and are productive?

my stance has been consistent on this issue for a very long time, even when i held no oilies at all so please specify your gripe.

cynic - 20 Mar 2009 16:29 - 279 of 6294

you're very quiet markymar ..... why would that be?

i just love peeps like you who tell me i am just touting the likes of TLW and PMO and HOIL and should buy AMER or RKH of FOGL instead ..... i don't think so!!!! .... but then, to use your own phrase, you're so thick you can't even understand the basics

markymar - 21 Mar 2009 10:17 - 280 of 6294

Another ramp of your 3 shares,You are thick!!! show me a post in which i have told you to buy any of those shares above?

Your making porkys up again, keep to opening letters with that big nose of yours.

Don't look out of the window
People will think that it's Halloween

cynic - 21 Mar 2009 18:50 - 281 of 6294

as always you are totally incapable of anwsering a question ... if a porky is a lie, then where have i lied? .... and if you are capable of answering that one, unlikely as that might be, please tell us all what you consider to be touting (unwarranted recommendation) about reminding you and others of 3 companies in which i happen to own shares, that are doing very well - whereas RKH assuredly is not, and for good reason

markymar - 21 Mar 2009 20:58 - 282 of 6294

Cynic are you always this stupid or are you just making a special effort today?

If I was as ugly as you were, I wouldn't say Hi to folk, I'd say BOO!

cynic - 21 Mar 2009 21:05 - 283 of 6294

as suspected, you are only capable of being infantile and clearly totally incapable of sensibly defending your corner, merely believing, through self-delusion, that further abuse strengthens your line of attack .... pathetic

markymar - 21 Mar 2009 21:58 - 284 of 6294

Whats more pathetic is you posting a reply to mine and it took you 6 minutes to write it and post it.Have you got nothing else better to do with your life than to sit in front of a computer and try to be clever! very sad

greekman - 23 Mar 2009 07:47 - 285 of 6294

Markymar,

Thanks. Re the reply.

cynic - 23 Mar 2009 11:33 - 286 of 6294

self-explanatory comparative chart over last 6 months
RKH comfortably coming in the rear(!) in dark blue
FOGL = red
PMO = green
TLW = black
HOIL = gold

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=RKH&Si

marni - 24 Mar 2009 00:11 - 287 of 6294

most companies in the rear in last 6 months! or even last 18 months!!!!

cynic - 24 Mar 2009 07:22 - 288 of 6294

if you looked, you would note that all 5 companies started at Zero on Day 1, and this shows their subsequent sp performance ...... RKH has dropped a further 80% and is by light years the worst performer ..... what rosy gloss would you care to put on that?

Toya - 24 Mar 2009 07:26 - 289 of 6294

It's a very impressive chart Cynic - every picture tells a story...

cynic - 24 Mar 2009 07:40 - 290 of 6294

a picture is worth 1000 words .... now what picture of yours would you care to post on here?

Toya - 24 Mar 2009 07:43 - 291 of 6294

What might you wish for Cynic? Something that tells the naked truth? - of RKH exploration of course...

cynic - 24 Mar 2009 07:47 - 292 of 6294

RKH is too hairy for me, so an untouched pic might be too frightening - lol!

cynic - 25 Mar 2009 07:47 - 293 of 6294

so Mr Markymar, my recomendations of TLW, PMO and HOIL were unwarranted and mere touting were they? ...... i was lying was i? ...... i'm a complete idiot for not seeing the merits of RKH obver the above 3 am I? ...... well it's time for you to eat some humble pie and bitter herbs old son!

Balerboy - 25 Mar 2009 08:22 - 294 of 6294

Blimey cynic your very verble today, so many postings in such a short time :))

cynic - 25 Mar 2009 08:28 - 295 of 6294

am always doing my e-mails at this time of the morning over my coffee at home ..... anyway, Mr M deserves a good slapping other than in his bank account .... he's great at dishing out abuse, but incapable of answering questions (see earlier posts) and i don't suppose he knows what the word "apologise" even means!

Joint Operators Meeting
Falkland Islands offshore operators, along with
representatives of the Falkland Islands
Government and BGS, are scheduled to attend a
Joint Operators Meeting in Stanley on the 6th and
7th of May 2009.

Joint Operators Meetings provide an excellent
opportunity for operators to get together to share
information and discuss matters of mutual
concern with FIG and BGS, and to coordinate
activities.

greekman - 25 Mar 2009 12:03 - 297 of 6294

Markymar,

Cheers for the info re Joint Op Meeting. Will be interesting to read the report. I often view all the Falkland connected sites and E-papers, and find that often hidden in the local news are items that can affect all companies with a Falkland connection.
Note......I did receive your E-Mail reply...Thanks.

Greek.
