Spaceman - 30 Mar 2005 08:42 - 2824 of 24230

O, unfortunatly it is but I am working from home which makes it easier to handle.

Smoothie has just arrived, we have these every day during the week and I am pretty sure that they are the reason why my blood pressure has dropped! dont tell the girlfriend but I love fruit smoothies now.

optomistic - 30 Mar 2005 08:49 - 2825 of 24230

Spacie, does that mean if she gets to know you like them you won't get them any more :-) BTW what are fruit smoothies?

stockbunny - 30 Mar 2005 08:51 - 2826 of 24230

Spacie - back to work man!
;>)

Morning all from a very dozzy and doppy bunny (no quips about no
change there then!) not a great night's sleep so being awake and
staying that way could e the biggest challenge this morning.

Pot of tea and a danish to help things I think......

optomistic - 30 Mar 2005 08:54 - 2827 of 24230

Morning Bunny.

Spaceman - 30 Mar 2005 09:02 - 2828 of 24230

bunny, I am working....

o, fruit smoothie is some sort of thick drink made from fruit, but knowing the girlfriend it will have all sorts of other healthy stuff in it ! I will see if I can find the recipe.

stockbunny - 30 Mar 2005 09:05 - 2829 of 24230

Spacie ;>)

Spaceman - 30 Mar 2005 09:19 - 2830 of 24230

OK here is the smoothie recipe, I didnt realise it contained so many non fruit things. Anyway I am told its very healthy !!!!

For 2 portions:

* Handful of berries (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries)
or
1/2 Mango cubed
or
1 peach chopped
* Juice and pulp of 2 oranges
* 1 banana sliced
* 4 tabsp plain soya yoghurt
* 2 tabsp ground linseeds
* 4 tabsp oat bran
* soya milk to make total of 600ml

stockbunny - 30 Mar 2005 09:27 - 2831 of 24230

Extremely good for you too! :>)

optomistic - 30 Mar 2005 09:42 - 2832 of 24230

Thank you Spacie. That will take some planning. Not sure my cook would do all that preparation :-)

stockbunny - 30 Mar 2005 09:58 - 2833 of 24230

The answer Opto lies in a food processor!
:>)

daves dazzlers - 30 Mar 2005 09:59 - 2834 of 24230

Bullshare - 30 Mar 2005 10:11 - 2838 of 24230

By the way; if ever Poochy, Spaceman and Anon need any help with design/creatives we can always help.

Spaceman - 30 Mar 2005 10:13 - 2839 of 24230

optomistic,
then mid morning we have nuts and sultanas,

12 almonds
3 Brazil Nuts
1 tablespoon of sunflower seeds
small handful of sultanas

plus

A cup of tea ;-)

I am told that the nuts have selenium and healthy oils and other 'micro nutrients' all of which are good for you, or so I am led to believe. The sultanas should be 3 dried apricots but I don't like them !

Spaceman - 30 Mar 2005 10:14 - 2840 of 24230

Bully your not implying that the designs here are not of the highest quality are you?

Thanks for the offer.

daves dazzlers - 30 Mar 2005 10:23 - 2841 of 24230

Spacey , those peanuts i dont no any girls that will touch nuts, the girls i no call them fat pills.

Just a thought for all you health conscious ladies out there.

stockbunny - 30 Mar 2005 10:33 - 2842 of 24230

Most of the fat in nuts - that aren't dry roasted etc - is good
fat, except brazils, which are great for you but do contain fat
that is higher in cholesterol and should be avoided if you are watching
that side of your diet. Peanuts are fattening, but that's because they
are a protein food - best ones as far as I know are - almonds, but all
nuts are brilliant for you if treated as a protein food.

yours the nut-eating freak
:>)

daves dazzlers - 30 Mar 2005 10:38 - 2843 of 24230

I`am sure theres a joke to be had in there..
