450 soon

niceonecyril - 22 Feb 2012 11:01 - 2825 of 5505

Back from walking the dog, glad to see it settle down, considering my options?

Proselenes - 22 Feb 2012 11:11 - 2826 of 5505

Glad, as I posted on here, I sold all my last GKP on the spike to 450p.

grevis2 - 22 Feb 2012 11:28 - 2827 of 5505

Well done Proselenes, I was tempted to do the same. What a difference a day makes!

Proselenes - 22 Feb 2012 11:38 - 2828 of 5505

grevis, there is so much hot money in this and all on no news.

BB-1 has to be very good news now to support the big rise, if BB-1 is just ok news now it might provoke the hot money to pile out.

Do not forget, the GENL presentation is tomorrow - what is in it could really move this price down or up - who knows what ?

cynic - 22 Feb 2012 11:39 - 2829 of 5505

what a clever chap you are MrP .... always and unerringly manage to sell at the top and usually buy at the bottom ..... how come you aren't a multi-billionaire?

Proselenes - 22 Feb 2012 11:45 - 2830 of 5505

Green eyes Mr Cynic.

When I sold and posted so you mentioned nothing but dreamed of higher prices.

Now its fallen back you have a green eye induced little dig ;) LOL

cynic - 22 Feb 2012 12:07 - 2831 of 5505

indeed, and i know you posted as much ..... happy to confess i have been too greedy, even though if i cash in all my current holding GKP i will have banked a thumping profit with even a modest overall profit on the current

cynic - 22 Feb 2012 12:20 - 2832 of 5505

have been a sensible chap and bitten the bullet with 50% ...... still somewhat o'weight, but no longer stupidly so

grevis2 - 22 Feb 2012 12:34 - 2833 of 5505

Lots of buying yet the price has dropped again. Maybe a big seller in the background?

grevis2 - 22 Feb 2012 12:42 - 2834 of 5505

Maybe someone has heard that Exxon has walked away?

cynic - 22 Feb 2012 12:51 - 2835 of 5505

CMR fund sold 0.25% + cannacord sell note with target of 210 + huge rise over the last month + (probably) a lot of forced sales now enacted

cynic - 22 Feb 2012 13:54 - 2836 of 5505

now out of all ...... gone into freefall so bottom could currently be anywhere ..... equally, it's too dangerous to short

325 is a possible support but a good bounce before then is certainly possible and may be chance for the nimble trader

cynic - 22 Feb 2012 14:56 - 2837 of 5505

if you're brave and nimble, it looks as though some bear covering under way

grevis2 - 22 Feb 2012 15:34 - 2838 of 5505

Seems as though that run has lost its momentum!

grevis2 - 22 Feb 2012 15:53 - 2839 of 5505

This was posted on another BB. Anyone know what is meant by ATS?
"well, looks like the selling has not finished yet!
ATs are selling to the rise."

cynic - 22 Feb 2012 16:13 - 2840 of 5505

automatic trades - i.e. computer generated

grevis2 - 22 Feb 2012 16:23 - 2841 of 5505

Thanks cynic, I had a feeling that was it.

Fox Davies views from the tading floor

Sellers showed up to the Gulf Keystone (LON:GKP) party today, dropping the company by 11% to 369p during lunchtime trading. Continued speculation surrounding the company have put the share moon bound over the last few months, with no real pause for breath. First line support looks to be 363p and it will be interesting to see how much of a fight the holders put up at that level.
