I was thinking that airlines, parcel carriers, coach operators, hauliers, ferry operators etc should all be reporting Q2 and final profit figures above expectations due to much lower fuel costs.....but I suppose it depends on how much they have hedged. Can't help thinking though, that Firstgroup and Stagecoach must be reaping the rewards due to the fact that they have to buy at pump prices. Maybe the airlines aren't so fortunate? I do know that the ferry operators tend to hedge a certain amount of their bunker fuel price, so at mo they are the wrong side of the market price. Presumably airlines hedge a bigger percentage than most?

Hedging positions
easyJet operates under a clear set of treasury policies agreed by the Board. The aim of easyJet's hedging policy is to reduce short term earnings volatility. Therefore, easyJet hedges forward, on a rolling basis, between 65% and 85% of the next 12 months anticipated fuel and currency requirements and between 45% and 65% of the following 12 months anticipated requirements.

DB4,
At what price are you considering buying at?
========
I have a sneaking belief some of the price drop of this one and IAG is due to "fears" of travelling at the moment.
