Just found the people who made my hammock, here is a picture of the model I have



They dont seem to do it in Special Forces black like mine anymore, they probably got too many people pretending to be Navy Seals or SAS.

There's a tell-tale jeffie-shaped dent in the floor.

Well I don't know who is was but they weren't a light weight!
There I was minding my own business, walking back from the kitchen
well hopping back from the kitchen, just ducked under the hammock
and THUD! Some large heavy object complete with hammock fell on
me, flattened I was, like an advert for the Acme Company, totally
flattened......so I peeled myself off the floor and waddled off
to the bar...nothing a large brandy didn't fix..hick...

PS Mr Spaceman Sir - I'd like my danger money increased please, it
was supposed to just cover Jeffie's odd tantrums but falling human
objects is a completely different matter.

So Jeff, what are YOU going to do to sort out our current lack of hammock? ;-)

That's about the end for today, finishing on a down :-( hope for some improvement tomorrow, but as Bunny says the Dow is up and the FTSE down, what's the betting for tomorrow?

bunny, sounds like you need another brandy.....

optimistic, but we are pretty irresponsible and relaxed in here. The odd drunken bunny doesn't make much difference, especially when the place is owned by a stoned Lamb, and we have a hammock killer on the loose.

The hammock was in such demand and its availability was bound to end in tears. So I decided to head that off at the pass and cut the strings.....everyones a winner.

I have bought a new hammock, it is made from carbon fibre reinforced canvas and can take the weight of me, all the cafe ladies and the band of the Royal Marines (with their instruments).

I could murder a cup of tea, any in the pot?

Socs, brilliant news re the indestructable hammock, thanks for that. Plenty of tea in the pot and help your self to one of my cookies, they have an added special ingredient.
