Excuse me, I was in this stock way before you and I do know whats going on. They raised a tiny amount of cash earlier yes, and they will now be looking at raising a rather larger wedge of cash given the good stock price run up and the WF9 result.

I will not be surprised at all to see a fund raising RNS before too long, its one thing EOG have never had, and thats a load of cash to really look forward to the future with.

Lets see who is right, I would say fund raising within 2 months now.

Proselens, your idea of 'fund raising' is total garbage. They raised cash on 24 December 2010 and it is enough to last through all the project work for the whole year.

The idea is to raise production in the UK this year. Get production going in Romania on oil and gas this year. Then they will never need to raise cash again.

ANAL seems totally incapable of taking a balanced view and accepting that the best laid of plans do not always come to fruition. Even the EOG BoD have stated that they are only fully funded if production is as predicted (I think the future price of oil will not have an adverse effect).

EOG have little cash (relatively speaking) for future exploration and any shortfall in revenues can only mean a return to the market for additional funds. IMO, they will be back for more no matter what Fisby produces.
