BLINX and you've missed it, the next google multi bagger!!! (BLNX)

Still Waiting - 25 Jul 2008 23:22

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=BLNX&S

With video search set to be the next big growth area BLNX have the software the likes of Microsoft, Google and NewsCorp would love to have.

In fact BLNX have done deals with most of these, the most recent being the UtargetFox deal which has been reported in the USA but not RNS'd in the UK.

Alexa rankings confirm the continued growth in usage as its viral effect spreads:-

The ITN RNS confirms blnx is the best in the market and is growing fast:-

Leading News Organization ITN Extends Advertising Deal with blinkx Based on Proven Campaign Success

blinkx Selected to Power Advertising across ITN Website and Syndication Partner Sites

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. - July 2, 2008 - blinkx, the world's largest and most advanced video search engine, today announced that it has won an extension contract that will augment the scope of its advertising partnership with ITN, one of the world's leading news and multimedia content companies. Under the terms of the new agreement, ITN will use AdHoc, blinkx's patented contextual advertising platform for online TV and video, to serve advertisements on the ITN website and its syndication partner sites, including Bebo.

Through AdHoc, ITN has already been effectively monetizing its premium news content on the blinkx.com network for over six months. During this time, ITN achieved a significantly better return, greater search volume, and higher monetization through blinkx than through other syndication partners.

AdHoc uses blinkx's patented speech-to-text transcription and visual analysis technology to understand video content more thoroughly and effectively than any other service today, and can therefore dynamically place the most pertinent advertising against it. The AdHoc platform offers media companies and advertisers a unique value proposition -- video advertising which combines the emotive power of TV promotion, with the relevance and utility of contextual search advertising.

The confluence of ITN's premium TV content, blinkx's extensive syndication network, and AdHoc's uniquely powerful targeting capabilities was a formula for success. By extending its partnership with blinkx, ITN aims to achieve similar returns by leveraging the AdHoc platform to deliver contextually relevant video advertising on its own website and across its distribution partner sites.

'We're thrilled to be broadening our relationship with ITN,' said Suranga Chandratillake, founder and CEO of blinkx. 'News content is one of the most popular categories of online video and there's clearly a tremendous opportunity for monetization. The success of our partnership with ITN is evidence that the blinkx AdHoc platform is a uniquely powerful solution for online video advertising today.'

'We've been delighted with the results of our partnership with blinkx and are looking forward to implementing the AdHoc technology on our site,' said Nicholas Wheeler, managing director, ITN On. 'blinkx AdHoc has proven that it can achieve significant monetization of our content, effective marketing for advertisers and, most importantly, a useful, non-disruptive experience for our audience.'

As a pioneer in video search technology, blinkx has built a reputation as the most effective way to search new forms of online content such as video. With more than 350 partners and 26 million hours of indexed video and audio content, including favorite TV moments, news clips, short documentaries, music videos, video blogs and more, blinkx uses advanced speech recognition technology to deliver results that are more accurate and reliable than standard metadata-based keyword searches.

thanks tabby, but i can't say i'm too fussed whether or not Mr Dozo apologises .... if the truth be known, he just shows his true and arrogant colours, and at the same time makes himself a laughing stock, though he is so dense, he fails to realise it.

on the other hand, i have always owned up to being a total ass!

ravey davy gravy - 22 Sep 2010 08:35 - 2875 of 6187

Tabasco.

I dont have any respect for certain posters on this site such as cynic haystack and hilary, hilary is a foul mouthed woman who has posted several defamotary
comments about me but is so thick skinned and arrogant she carries on regardless.
Haystack tortured a friend of mine spamming his stocks for a 2 year period on
advfn getting banned hundreds of times, i mentioned his name to my friend and
his response was expected and not nice which is hardly surprising as i have 0% respect for haystack, i think he is a loner who craves the attention.
All i said about cynic is he made several wrong calls here then all of a sudden
he's made great profits in it which of course is either a mistake or bullshit but
i'm used to that, i always find when i'm on the money the abuse and foul language
increases and that is happening, you see what masterrsi posts when he is exposed
dont we.

cynic - 22 Sep 2010 08:41 - 2876 of 6187

see .... Mr "Jackass" Dozo is still incapable of admitting that he was wrong about my trading in BLNX, even though the numbers have been presented fair and square .... perhaps he's afraid that he will truly disappear up his own arse if he indeed does the honourable thing

btw, "Jackass" has failed to read properly yet again .... i don't think 559.52 is exactly "great profits" - must be less now - though i certainly wouldn't leave it lying in the gutter!

ravey davy gravy - 22 Sep 2010 08:45 - 2877 of 6187

Cynic.

You will end up posting the same childish nonsense as rsi maters if you continue.

Just remember abuse just brushes right off me, i've took the best of it from the
serial pump and dumpers from advfn :-))

cynic - 22 Sep 2010 08:52 - 2878 of 6187

i'm not abusing you - self-abuse is more fun - but merely pointing out your blatant and proven error which your arrogance prevents you from admitting ....

can't comment about advfn as spent just 20 minutes there perhaps 2 years ago and walked away

ravey davy gravy - 22 Sep 2010 08:58 - 2879 of 6187

My blatant error ?

Your last two calls here in Blnx went totally the wrong direction and you know that
fine well, what the feck is wrong with internet posters, cannot you be honest for
just 5 minutes, is this just a game to pass your time, i wont respond and i'm annoyed with myself just for writing this out because i'm making great money trading and it's fruitless trying to argue the case with a person with self denial
over some lousy positions.

hilary - 22 Sep 2010 09:02 - 2880 of 6187

Which of my comments about you do you think are defamatory, Raving Loony Toony? I'm happy to repeat them if you wish, although I doubt there's many here would disagree them.

I very rarely actually dislike people on these boards (even Tabster is quite likeable really and can be very charming at times), but in your case I'm more than happy to make an exception. I've only ever seen you pick fights with others and insult and abuse them, and then, once they retaliate, you play the victim card.

As far as social lepers go, you're right out there alone on Kalaupapa. In case you hadn't noticed, the only people who respond in a civil manner to you around these parts are those who either don't know what you're about, or those whose own lift doesn't go up to the top floor.

cynic - 22 Sep 2010 09:03 - 2881 of 6187

you complete arsehole! ..... if i had sold short and got it wrong, i would have posted same, and indeed i often to do post when i have cocked up ...... everyone here, except you, knows i post trades regularly and truthfully ..... time you learnt to be man and admitted your error ..... you clearly think (very unlikely!) that by repeating your false rubbish often enough it will suddenly become fact .... ultimately even the alchemists had to admit otherwise

btw, does your last post actually mean you will indeed disappear, even without apologising as you should? ..... many here sincerely hope so

chessplayer - 22 Sep 2010 09:44 - 2888 of 6187

There is one thing that I have learned about apologies.
Asking for one is the least likely way of getting one, whether merited or not!
In fact asking for one generally provokes the opposite reaction.
Nobody likes someone trying to show them up,especially on a public notice board

My subject for tomorrow will be ----.answers on a postcard.

cynic - 22 Sep 2010 10:27 - 2889 of 6187

that's another good reason for asking one of Jackass!

dealerdear - 22 Sep 2010 11:04 - 2890 of 6187

FWIW

Very few people are prepared to say what losses they take. Cynic does occasionallly but I suspect many people on these boards have lost fortunes without owning-up which is fair enough, even if they have got some back on the oilies recently. Generally these days I don't say when I make money or when I lose it which is just the way I work.

Furthermore, i try not to take sides unless someone is a total arse or worse still racist etc. Personally, I've had little problem with rdg.

Haystack - 22 Sep 2010 11:15 - 2891 of 6187

This has certainly become an entertaining thread once more. RDG's exaggeration is quite something to behold. Unfortunately it lack the charm of Jeremy Clackson's whoppers.

I did enjoy one of RDG's latest comments though, "Haystack tortured a friend of mine". I apparently did this at arms's length by posting opposing views on a thread for a stock that his chum had taken a fancy to.

LOL

cynic - 22 Sep 2010 11:16 - 2892 of 6187

and except when my word is doubted as by Jackass, i never quantify profits/losses in monetary terms
