Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

I was out all at 4.8.....not the highest point and small long back in 4.75....not the best timing in the world....

Lots of news to come from RKH with AGM on thursday and plans for future and upgrades on reserves at some point.

Rf, you KNOW that you won't be able to resist having a small stake in DES at some time soon, for fear of being left out, just in case they hit the big one, so just put a little bit of cash to one side & take the risk!

for myself, i have a full stake in RKH (still) and a 50% stake in DES and of course short FOGL (50% stake) and ARG (70%)

I'm big in FPM....and tiny in RKH.....more chances off the Norway coast than here....

Todays RNS from Fogl makes not one iota of difference to RKH.

The market makers put their opening prices well down (no pun intended) to panic holders.

I am holding and although the last 2 days dips are very annoying, I am not concerned.

I might not get into DES at all Harry...tempting on this drop or if it goes back to 120p or so....but not at all convinced by this latest spud.

Cynic stick BOR on your list if they have no rig.......In the FI they were all upbeat that they would get a rig so some thing has gone wrong i must bend an ear or two

I don't think des has dropped at all, it's holding steady RKH on the other hand .....

If I'd kept my short open I would be in profit now....damn....

Rebound in RKH....I was right about 450p.....and there could be upon reserves upgrade announcement a thrust back to 500p....

RKH has a value....DES has Potential .AGR 1 year + before they drill BOR and FOGL cant get a rig.
