Congratulations!

seawallwalker - 17 Jan 2005 09:52 - 2918 of 7811

Well done the prop family.

Keep 'em coming!

sandrew64 - 17 Jan 2005 09:54 - 2919 of 7811

Congratulations prop!

proptrade - 17 Jan 2005 10:07 - 2920 of 7811

CHEERS...i have to say i am exhausted but delighted.

Andy - 17 Jan 2005 10:11 - 2921 of 7811

prop,

Don't they say it's better to travel than arrive?

:-)

hilary - 17 Jan 2005 10:15 - 2922 of 7811

Those Gooner tickets will be a lot cheaper once they're in the Championship by the time your boys are old enough to go. You could always give them a real treat and take them to watch Chelsea instead.

:o)

Congratulations by the way.

proptrade - 17 Jan 2005 10:16 - 2923 of 7811

there is a grain of truth in that!

the funny thing is that my 3 year old who usually sleeps from 7-7 was up all night last night..baby was almost no problem.

anyway, i think i need to set up a cigar thread so we can wax lyrical about all this kind of stuff and mention a stock idea or two!

lostcause - 17 Jan 2005 10:42 - 2924 of 7811

congratulations proptrade - I have three boys myself. Your supermarket bill will soon be in the thousands!
Oh, there's so much to look forward to!

proptrade - 17 Jan 2005 10:56 - 2925 of 7811

cheers Hilary and Lostcause.

I fear that the 50 years Chelsea has been in the league winning wilderness could follow a string of successful years. Saying that I just hope that the real treat will be taking the boys to the Emirates stadimm and watching them trounce chelski.

I have already taken my 5 year old a couple of times to Highbury so he is fully indoctrinated and my 3 year old met Mr Wenger in a restaurant and when i said to him if he knew who it was he replied, and i quote, "yes daddy, it is ARSENAL WENGER!" nO GOONER could have been prouder and Arsene was highly amused!

Now all i need to do is make sure number 3 has a similar treatment and i will be a happy man!

now i need SEY to be 2 quid and i might be able to afford the school fees!

partridge - 17 Jan 2005 10:58 - 2926 of 7811

Well done Mr and Mrs Prop. Our two now 19 and 16 and it has gone so fast - make time to get to know them well, or you may have regrets later (as I did with our elder boy; redundancy a few years ago meant I am much closer to younger son). What will you do with Mr Brown's 250? Suggest something high risk/high reward (if you are allowed do it - havent read the small print) like SEY or SEO.Slightly safer might be BBR but DYOR!

mickeyskint - 17 Jan 2005 11:18 - 2927 of 7811

Proptrade

Many congratulations to you and your family. I hope Mrs PT is doing well, feet up and taking things easy. I've got 2 boys, well young men now and what great guys they are too. If yours give you half the pleasure mine give me you will indeed be a happy man. I think the new arrival will be a Spurs man. I hope it rains on Lampards birthday.

LOL

LOL as well!

the best thing has been is that i have worked quite a bit from home trading over the last two years and have an amazing relationship with my two boys. if anything i think these young years have been great to bond and will hopefully stay connected when i have a proper job!

now about that 250, i will have to look into that. it just about covers a months worth of nappies and doesn't even make a dent in the hospital bills. ho hum.

proptrade - 17 Jan 2005 13:11 - 2929 of 7811

when this stock goes quiet it goes very very quiet!

namreh3 - 17 Jan 2005 13:13 - 2930 of 7811

afternoon all

congrats prop to you and your wife

ps keep an eye on the youngest - i was born in to a tottenham family but at the age of 4 saw sense and became a gooner - best decision i ever made!!!!

seawallwalker - 17 Jan 2005 17:20 - 2933 of 7811

Big buyers mopping up all the lose shares from the shorting campaign.

Hard luck to those who sold out only to watch this happening.

mickeyskint - 17 Jan 2005 17:37 - 2934 of 7811

Not me I'm still in.
