Media Corp (Gaming Corpoartion GMC)Attracting Some Big Names. (MDC)

goldfinger - 05 Dec 2003 00:33

Up nearlly 15% today and I beleive there could be more to come.

Evil Knievil has tipped it on EvilCast and has bought in 100,000 worth of stock a notifiable interest. He rates the management very highly and says they are attracting all the big bookmakers to the online casino site including punters the likes of William Hill, Chandler, and Ladbrokes. The company are now running at a profit every month and should break into a yearly profit from the years previous loss very soon. The company also ownes in partnership with a Swiss firm Boss another casino site and by all accounts that is doing well.

Im looking at this one as a momentum play pretty high risk as there are competitors out there but I feel the management will give it the edge.

Please DYOR, and remember you are responsible for your own buying and selling actions.

cheers GF.

One of the reasons Bet is doing so well from Growth company Investor last night....................

28/02/2005
betinternet.com - SPECULATIVE BUY
Betinternet, the online gambling group, has had a topsy-turvy year where progress was made but losses were still posted. Having undertaken a strategic review of the business, the company is looking to capitalise on its re-branded pari-mutuel business, Eur.......

Hi Adieh - yes am watching BET - but everytime I think it has gone too high and that I am too late - it goes up again. Watching this from the sidelines at the moment.

AdieH - 01 Mar 2005 15:28 - 294 of 1117

Seems to be doing a GMC, I'm much more wary this time as should have made more on GMC myself, have set a target here and will stick to it no matter what the price is doing... Good Luck if you get in.

Thanks GF well found, might explain some of the rise today but still think that someone bigger is looking and building...

BANKONE - 01 Mar 2005 16:03 - 295 of 1117

I was in at 6.4p but I fail to see although I am not grumbling that with two domain addresses, No 1 in a hitlist, well any website if attractive can hit that, cost per click, on Broad band at 17.99 a month ghow much can be earned from that (fractions of fRactions of pennies) and one worth 5m how can this share justify being 18p+. In for the ride and holding until 30p then ditch half.

goldfinger - 01 Mar 2005 16:22 - 296 of 1117

Its not worth anywhere near the present price per share, its just sheer speculation but if thats the game you want to play, money can obviously be made if you keep your eye on the ball.

Watch out for this one now, looks like it could be the next big one........

Today is the first day for GGK 1.925p +0.175p doing its move up
another gambling stock, with cash flow positive at the last results.
Most trades are delayed of 20K or over, so later will show the volume as shares starting to move this afternoon
L2 is 2 v 1 also positive

FONTY - 01 Mar 2005 16:31 - 297 of 1117

Goldfinger - what do you think of Betinternet - gambling seems flavour of the week. All the best Fonty

AdieH - 01 Mar 2005 16:45 - 298 of 1117

Thanks GF will look at GGK, your abit of a star...

goldfinger - 01 Mar 2005 16:46 - 299 of 1117

Its a gamble Fonty LOL, I can see a pattern developing here where punters move from one to the other say day by day, the punters gain if they are carefull and the MMs gain from the massive turnover, seems to be the logic, lets see if it indeed does happen.

By the way one that seems to be forgotten is Sportsnetwork. Now if you could get punters moving in between all four highlited, WELL.

Not for me though, Ill stick to the boring stocks and earn my dosh that way, I havent the patience to keep watching the screen all day which is certainly required.

cheers GF.

ateeq180 - 01 Mar 2005 16:48 - 300 of 1117

Gmc did not scare that much today, and ended up in a positive teritory, which must be a relief after yesterdays jitters.any comments Goldfinger on todays trading and what does the future holds in your opinion in short term.Thanks.

goldfinger - 01 Mar 2005 16:53 - 301 of 1117

Just as above ateeq. I bet the boys on the far4 thread on the other big site are planning to jump aboard GMC again from BET in the morning and if they arent they should be. Doesnt make sense for the MMs to break it up as they make there money on turnover, the more they trade the more they make.

cheers GF.

FONTY - 01 Mar 2005 16:56 - 302 of 1117

Goldfinger - my birthday tomorrow so have gone into GGK and BET to hopefully buy myself a little pressie. YUP LOL always needed. Sportsnetwork has jumped up too but I think I would be stretching my luck.

ateeq180 - 01 Mar 2005 16:59 - 303 of 1117

Thankyou for a swift reply and good luck.

goldfinger - 01 Mar 2005 17:00 - 304 of 1117

Best of luck Fonty on your birthday but I think they will be all jumping aboard GMC in the morning. Now you know where the term 'the herd ' comes from.

cheers GF.

AdieH - 01 Mar 2005 17:00 - 305 of 1117

GGK and SOP aren't really online gambling co's they are just sports and games in either boxing (SOP) or slot machines (GGK) - I thought the mad rush was for online poker co's?

Where next for the Poker goldrush???

Well you guys are certainly having an interesting ride - whats this 3.5m traded in less than half an hour & sp up to 17!
Anyone any idea whats the truelevel for the sp.....
0.5m BET shares traded today as well - I don't think I have the time to get involved in either of these as I'd be stuck to the screen all day.

Good luck guys
