very confusing- serious volume- I think this must be in relation to shares moving around from placing?-

proptrade - 19 Jan 2005 10:14 - 2946 of 7811

aimtrader...the overhang is just related to the placed stock. thos out for a quick turn may just dump this money in favour of other investments. out of the whole placing there would be a percentage that will be long term holders and a few flippers who are now bored and want out. likewise there may be resistance at above 17 p for a while and then there will be a clear breakout through 20p.
one mans humble opinion.

Nous showing through, Prop. Share ownership (lest we forget), unless you are particularly astute, lucky, bent or a combination of the former, is a medium or long term play. In these small cap oils one day can make you a few quid (cf Cairn) but sound companies can allow you to retire early if you hold your nerve, take a calculated risk and play the game in years not weeks.
(PS trust sprog and significant other are ok)

great thx! i agree with medium/long play...lets just wait and see. of course rumours and stories are great for a few quick bucks but research stories like this take time and hopefully pay HUGE dividends!

I hope you have been awake every night at 2am like I was for all 3 of mine.

Guess what, the eldest is 21 and she still has me up till the small hours worrying about her..................

Hey we ticked up!

Stock overhang under done and over cast I reckon with sunny intervals between showers.......

well little Max slept through most of last night but my 3 year old was up. typical.

stop clouding the issues SWW, there is clearly blue skies ahead with a heatwave on the horizon and storms now far out to sea!

namreh3 - 19 Jan 2005 14:37 - 2952 of 7811

no storms at sea! (esp. off West Africa!)

gavdfc - 19 Jan 2005 14:37 - 2953 of 7811

So now we have weather foecasts to add to recipes and some talk of SEY! It's freezing up here and has been snowing the last few days. Bring on the blue skies!

proptrade - 19 Jan 2005 14:39 - 2954 of 7811

where are u?

gavdfc - 19 Jan 2005 14:40 - 2955 of 7811

In Dundee, hence the freezing temperatures!

namreh3 - 19 Jan 2005 14:49 - 2956 of 7811

Enjoy the seasons gav. Better that than bland perennial Spring/Autumn type-thing weather.

mickeyskint - 19 Jan 2005 14:50 - 2957 of 7811

Is anything worn under the kilt? I know it's all in fine working order.

Try Cornwall instead, no snow though the winds are up a bit and there are even some daffodils out!

mickeyskint - 19 Jan 2005 14:52 - 2959 of 7811

A nice day here in Kent. Blue skies and sunny.

Pity the manufacturing base in the UK is shot otherwise you could have replaced anything u/s which was worn under the kilt.

proptrade - 19 Jan 2005 14:59 - 2961 of 7811

london is cold and dry. any snow expected down here soon?

last year london came to a standstill in .34mm of snow. 2 weeks later i was in New York and 7 inches fell overnight and everything worked perfectly. Oh Red Ken, sort it out. instead of windbagging about 4x4's, buy a few more gritters and snowplows.

gavdfc - 19 Jan 2005 15:01 - 2962 of 7811

I do enjoy the seasons here, but the colder times seem to stretch from October through to after easter. Still, Im used to it. Nothing like having to scrape the ice from your car in the morning when the temp is -7 or so! Today we have the usual grey skies. Earlier in the week we had sun, rain, sleet and snow in the same day.

Mickey, as to the kilt, nothing is worn under it. I've only worn one a few times and it weighs a ton, the socks are horrible though!

No daffodils out here yet, maybe in a few months!

namreh3 - 19 Jan 2005 15:03 - 2963 of 7811

With the pace ( or lack ) of traffic in London it is probably better for Ken to hire Big Issue sellers on a part-time basis and issue them with a besom and red flag.

seawallwalker - 19 Jan 2005 15:31 - 2964 of 7811
