SYMPHONY PLASTICS - Recycle your way to a triple bagger! (SYM)

the pink pound - 15 Jul 2003 01:10

From earlier this year.

"The fund raise significantly strengthens Symphony's balance sheet and will
allow us to maintain the quantum growth we have enjoyed over the past few
months. We are now receiving significant interest from a variety of sectors in
our degradable solution to the problems associated with plastic waste and,
following this strengthening of our resources, we are in a much stronger
position to meet the considerable demand for our products."

This last statement shows that corporations are looking seriously at Symphonys products. Yesterdays announcement shows a real coup for the company, as they have walked away from a potential exclusivity contract with no penalties!. Rarely seen IMO.

Bio-degradeable products are appearing everywhere, especially in the consumer disposal market, and Symphony look to be taking a large chunk of this with their own brands.

I believe strongly in the management of the company. I see they have the technical ability and also the qualities required to deal with the financial markets. Too often we see an excellent company with strong technical management, only to see them fail as they have no idea how to deal with the stock market.

That is why I am nominating Symphony plastics as my "tip of the week". If you get in early enough, I believe you could see a potential treble bagger by the end of July.

I would welcome your comments on the above analysis.

the confidence isn't really coming across to potential investors though is it? otherwise we would be seeing the share price going in a positive direction. topped up on resluts but seemed to be alone in doing so - everyone is distracted by the chaos going through the markets and not spotting the small successful growers

All the best for the New Year!
From the desk of CEO - Michael Laurier
We are approaching the end of another year; the period when everyone is celebrating
with families and friends the end of a cycle, and making plans for the forthcoming
year. This is when we reflect on the past and make preparations for the future.
We, at Symphony, are doing the same. We finish this
year pleased with our accomplishments and those of
our Distributors around the world, and with the knowledge
that we have dealt with everything to the very best
of our ability. 2008 will be celebrated among Symphony
Directors and staff as a success, and we will endeavour
to ensure that the New Year will be even better.
The year 2008 also gave us reason for reflection as the
economy worldwide is deteriorating and for many companies
and people 2009 will be a very testing time. On
the other hand we are very appreciative to be able to look back and see how this remarkable
company is growing from strength to strength even during this difficult period.
We close 2008 having achieved a lot despite the recession on the world. We would
not have been able to achieve such a success without everyone's contribution working
for the amazing d2w brand; the brand that has now been commercialized in more than
60 countries, the brand that has increased the number of eco-compatible plastics
around the world, and the brand that is contributing to a better environment for us all.
These are the achievements mentioned by our Chairman Nirj Deva M.E.P. during his
speech at Symphony's Christmas lunch, and which have created an atmosphere of
pride, satisfaction, and thanks for another year of hard work well done, and the hope
for even greater success next year. This atmosphere is what I want to share with you.
Thank you for being a part of this story, and for being part of d2w. Celebrate the end
of this year and be prepared for the next one full of good news!

With the way the chart looks and the sp has moved does anyone trust Laurier to actually deliver anything to shareholders.

god knows what the justification for the annoucement is...delay because they have done......or delay because its another downward slip ahead

time will tell

Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc (Symphony or the Group), the degradable plastics and waste-to-energy Group, is pleased to announce that, through its wholly owned subsidiary, Symphony Environmental Limited, it has today launched the Worlds first d2w 100% degradable metalised film for snack foods, in conjunction with Organizacion Barcel (Barcel), a subsidiary of Grupo Bimbo Mexico (Bimbo).
The announcement comes after successful extensive trials and will see Symphonys d2w additive being used in Barcels film for its premium range of snack food products including the Takis and other brands. The product ranges include crisps and confectionary amongst others.

This follows the successful use of Symphonys d2w additive in the packaging for Bimbos bread and other products, announced in August 2008, and has been achieved through Symphonys official distributor, Plasticos Degradables S.A de C.V.
