I do like to put a CAT next to the DOG if I am put into that point

anyone can be a "silly Billy" but " mnamreh " is just too much to stomach and expected not to be told.

Someone would say >>>>> throwing stones and then hidding under the bed

or >>>>>> posting and then deliting

"halifax " have keept silence from some time time ( after being told off ) today is taking to - papa -
naughty boys can be kept on the dark room for some time if they not behave

magicjoe - 14 Nov 2012 15:18 - 2975 of 3002

Someone likes to put their nose on every thread

Keep that for your home is my advise ( most likely your kids do not obbey you any longer ), I do not take any notice of people talking at " m am " mind you in a box at " speakers corner "

Back at your sheed ( mr pol/ref/je ) tells you all about you

Market is in a funny mood so one can say what is on one's mind on a day like that after a supper lunch

cynic - 14 Nov 2012 15:25 - 2976 of 3002

have you been at the bottle MJ? .... you're gibbering again with the usual racist undertones

magicjoe - 14 Nov 2012 16:08 - 2977 of 3002

never drink at lunch time, I think I am clever enough to leave it for the evening and then only some days.

Have you heard the news >>>>> GAZA needs your help

Some said sometime back ........ If one is BAD the others are much WORSE

cynic - 14 Nov 2012 16:15 - 2978 of 3002

i disown or even deplore the israeli gov't ..... i think the way they have treated the palestinians in general over the years is disgusting, and by so doing, they will have immeasurably aided the growth and appeal of hamas and hezbollah and other groups who, at best, want the region destabilised, and at the more radical end, the destruction of israel itself

for all that, i cannot but applaud the successful targetting of one of the key figures in hamas, though of course these organisations are like the hydra of greek mythology

magicjoe - 14 Nov 2012 16:16 - 2979 of 3002

and talking about business, XEL is going nowhere like the market, but at least is up for the day, not the FTSE now 60 points lower at 5726 on the intraday the ftse reaching the 200 days MA like it did a couple days ago it seems.

Some at this point are buying

15 minutes delay

i think it depends at what point you take the close to be ..... at the bell, it was indeed 5742, but as you rightly observe, once the late trades and other bits and pieces were taken into account, the calculation was amended to 5722

magicjoe - 20 Nov 2012 10:20 - 2981 of 3002

Well on the way up today on very low volume so far

markymar - 20 Nov 2012 15:16 - 2983 of 3002

XEL on Canada

up 10.34%
Open at 1.05 am - then close at 1.12 - 1.15.

markymar - 20 Nov 2012 23:48 - 2989 of 3002

A 9% rise in Xcite shares today to just over £1 after the news at 2.30pm that “Xcite Energy has received notification that Global Resource Funding Partners LLC no longer has a shareholding in the Company.”

Surprising that they have decided to exit before the forthcoming news on a farm out and potential reserves upgrade but Global like Socius were never long term investors. The shares went into auction around 5 minutes before the close on heavy buying and closed at the high for the day meaning that tomorrow could be promising for long suffering shareholders.

With the “hand brake” effect of Global out of the way given their constant selling over the last few weeks, the shares should have a strong run up after closing below 90p at one stage last week. Now the right farm out deal needs to be delivered in the new year (no Rockhopper’s please!).

dreamcatcher - 21 Nov 2012 08:05 - 2990 of 3002

Keep going :-))

Energy Reporter | 20/11/2012

London’s main market struggled to make headway today after a credit rating downgrade in France sparked further uncertainty in Europe.

The FTSE 100 Index, which rallied more than 2% on Monday, closed 10.4 points higher at 5,748.1.

Carrie Keenan, of investment manager and financial planning specialist Brewin Dolphin in Aberdeen, highlighted Xcite Energy 9.26% ahead at 100.625p, Wood Group adding 1.32% to £8.03 and BG Group up 1.08% at £10.31.

Some posters will never learn that .........
What goes round comes round eventually
This thread is one example of " squelched " only no comments on the top

Well, that sums up totally what a rampfest the GKP thread is.

Frenchyboy has banned me, simply for posting opinions that he did not agree with.

How can someone "claim" to moderate a thread sensibly and "not ban those" who have a differing opinion ?

Sad state of affairs and shows how pathetically emotionally attached some people are to stocks.

First rule of stocks - never ever fall in love with them.

Seems to be that on GKP threads you can only ramp, if you are negative in any way, even with reasonable posts that are not abusive or name calling in any way, you get banned.

One word - pathetic.
