Had a cracking day out in Broadstairs. Walked to Ramsgate and back, checked that KIA was still there for Socs. Got nicely tanned.

Bet there's a knot-shape on your forehead.

jeffmack - 03 Apr 2005 19:15 - 2984 of 24230

chocolat - 03 Apr 2005 19:51 - 2985 of 24230

All your own hair's good - have you counted it recently?

Socrates - 03 Apr 2005 20:01 - 2986 of 24230

Jeffmack
So thoughtful, thanks.

Just back from watching Real Madrid struggle to a win over lowly Albacete. Michael Owen scored the winner which was good to see.

As usual, the standard of the wine and tapas far exceeded that of the football.

If it is any consolation, it has been peeing down with rain all night here in Murcia...

:-(

Morning all, dull and foggy again in Hastings, yesterday was brilliant but i didnt go out all day ;-(

Working from home today but I have got to go into town for work on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Friday is a day off for the traders meeting.

Afternoon - horrible drizzly morning here spent in the opticans
or at least it felt like we got there and stayed for hours!

Cup of tea for me and off to check the market..

Spacie...I believe you are planning to attend the London Traders' Day and perhaps a few others from here are going too. Are there any plans to have a Meeting Point for members of the Lambykins Coffee House? Better still, have you negotiated a discount rate for members of Lambykins' Lair or Poochy's Parlour?

I hope Lamby is on the Speakers' List.

Big game tomorrow !

Spaceman - 04 Apr 2005 14:03 - 2992 of 24230

P, I will be at the traders day on Friday now that Charles has delayed his wedding ;-) No plans to setup a Coffee House there as its a bit too close to Scotland Yard, but it would be nice to say hi to people, specially anyone that frequents the coffee house. Are you going to be there? I didn't see you name on the list?

I did ask Lambykins if he would do a session at the traders day but he said he was far to busy to prepare anything, he will probably be there although he does get a bit scared at big events. He is only a very small fella.

I tried to get a discount but failed, however if you go to the event expecting it will cost double what it actually costs you will be pleasantly surprised by what it actually costs......... Anyone remember the Concorde Method ;-)

stockbunny - 04 Apr 2005 14:06 - 2993 of 24230

Heard it mentioned on the board but never understood what it was all
about? Please enlighten Spacie, the bunny is all ears () ()

Priscilla - 04 Apr 2005 14:08 - 2994 of 24230

I think you'll find the location is some distance from Scotland Yard, Spacie. I haven't declared my hand yet because I may be away that day. (Not in Rome!) But my opinion might be swayed if Lamby was attending in person.

Spaceman - 04 Apr 2005 14:37 - 2995 of 24230

Bunny, the Concorde Method can be found here

P good job you said that I was all ready to go to the Horticultural Hall !

Lambykins will be there in person... or the Lamb equivalent of "in person"

stockbunny - 04 Apr 2005 14:47 - 2996 of 24230

Ahh interesting...LOL

stockbunny - 04 Apr 2005 14:49 - 2997 of 24230

I've got to say that my husband was very disappointed to learn that the pope had died.

We came off the slopes at 5:00pm on Saturday and then drove 650 miles non-stop to get home at 3:30am Sunday. My husband then set the alarm clock and got up early to watch MoTD on Sunday morning for the Lee Bowyer fight, only to find that the TV schedules had all been changed because the pope had popped his clogs. To say that he was livid was an understatement.

Priscilla - 04 Apr 2005 15:14 - 2999 of 24230

Hils: How's the knee?

daves dazzlers - 04 Apr 2005 15:15 - 3000 of 24230

H!

He`s all heart your old man.

hilary - 04 Apr 2005 15:20 - 3001 of 24230

Brilliant, thanks P. I had an all-singing, all-dancing brace for it and I was really quite worried about it to begin with, but it held up very strongly.
