Forbidden Technologies - Annual General Meeting (FBT)

Read RNS that Forbidden has won a US deal for 1-year, good - but sp continues to fall as this product doesn't have the "grunt-status" investors believed.

Whilst operating in the cloud is good for multiple access and what I gather is their business model ( although competition between NEWS distributors tends to be sketchy at best ), I saw snags where it might appeal to other Movie-users.

Time will tell if that's the case....always assuming the likes of Adobe don't see NEWS as another area they can muscle-in. It's a pity they don't have a larger customer-base who can suggest improvement to the look-and-feel of their software . . . . at Exhibitions it's impossible to judge a product - without taking it home and using it on yr last-year's holiday movies.
EDIT:
I watched the video of their AGM and whilst it has some interesting Tech ( The last 15 minutes ), I'm not convinced that the great unwashed will pay for this ( pay-much), so they really need to attach themselves to someone that has "Content - like Disney where the parent have a few minutes each day to do the Edit - and for that use I think they have a Winner - but not for serious film-makers sadly. However the Public are increasing numbers - so IF they can be gathered into the fold that will produce an income-stream . . . . one just wonder if they have the creativity to go-get a good deal . . . like Free Editing for Disneyland patrons while on-site with prize for the best of yesterday's crop. The benefit to Disney is interaction, feedback and free publicity from patrons paying for their visit! - For Forbidden there is a reasonable chance the parents will stick with the Editor - esp if they can include some "Content monitoring" so kids can't upload things that shouldn't be seen.
