RSI is pointing to overbought, but the RSI trend is still good.

I was lucky enough to have got in sub 1 and have watched the SP yo-yo between 1.10 and 50p for the last 18 months. This current upsurge is most welcome!

Queen1, You should be a little happier now. May struggle at 133p and 153p. But rolling peg of .33 and .91 should go through the reistance levels fairly quickly.

A lot happier! Still, I believe there is more to come as long as the markets continue to recover so certainly hoping to see 153p soon!

Made a start - up 3% today just before the close of play. Interesting movement so late in the day. Any ideas on whether this will continue into tomorrow?

Very interesting cluster of good size buyings at end of trading. Saw somewhere in the last month suggest target price was 110. The price I bought at. So much for predictions. I think the trend is intact. ANother couple of months like this would suit me %-).

Queen1,
I have bought a few more BRW. May be wrong, hope not.
Reasons as below!!!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
ISA update,
Sold BPK at 6% loss.
Bought another tranche of BRW at 131.8p on drop of 4%.
Earlier quite a lot of buying with no price movement followed by balance of selling.
I think drop is due to the following;-
***********
Brewin Dolphin director IB Speke sells shares
AFX
LONDON (AFX) - Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC said director IB Speke has sold 80,000 ordinary shares in the company at 133 pence each.
He now holds 352,622 shares.
************************************
Bought on overall trend and
2004 2005 2006
Earnings per share (EPS) (in BPC)
5.58 7.48 8.50
Price earnings ratio
23.58 17.58 15.47
EBITDA (in Mio. GBP)
17.45 24.00 27.00
Net debt (in Mio. GBP)** n/a n/a n/a
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Reason for selling BPK.
I think over time this company will do well, but will be quite slow, trading volume are small and interest seems luke warm.
I know trend has been up and good for last month but I think is slipping back since going Xdiv. Intend keeping Eye on it for future.

Fred1new - thanks for that - it's always good to get someone else's thinking on your own holdings. Personally I thought these would motor this week following news of some consolidation in the sector but perhaps they are just biding their time before the next leg up: there don't seem to be any obstacles to 2 if I'm reading it right.

Lets get past 150p, and then reconsider. If it does jump the 150 barrier should hit your 200p. over the next 6mths,. One thing which may effect it is if interest rates go up or not.

Maybe although I get the feeling that the consensus on iterest rates is that they will be lower by the end of the year than they are now.

Q1 What do you think. It seems to be misbehaving on small volumes. Still well within normal trend lines, but would be nice to see some lage buys.

My thinking is that this is marking time, pausing for breath. However, if it drops below 115p I'm not sure we'll see your 150p, let alone my 200p for quite some time. Still, quite away off that at present.

Interesting day. I was cursing for not jumping overboard at 140p, but looking at the b/s and good volume buys at the bell to-day I would expect it to rise substantially tomorrow.
Watch with TLC.

Q1 are you still holding these. Been a little miserable for a few weeks. Haven't seen any background reasons for this other than one director selling a small holdings weeks ago.
But if I am reaing the charts properly looks like an exhaustion gap, just wondering if it will resume up trend.
Thoughts.

Hi Fred1new - I hate to say it but I've sold up and moved on. I felt there was better value for my money elsewhere (SYM & VTI...was feeling all green and eco-friendly). Good luck to you for the journey.
