Comic actor Sir Norman Wisdom has died aged 95, his son has confirmed.

The London-born comedian was famous for his slapstick film roles in the 1950s and 1960s, including the character Norman Pitkin.

Sir Norman had suffered a series of strokes causing a decline in both his mental and physical health over the past six months.

His family said he passed away at a nursing home on the Isle of Man on Monday afternoon.

Very sad...one of the greatest comedians ever.

A bit of Movie nostalgia.. it was released / rereleased in 1984 in Chennai India. The film was a smash hit and ran for many weeks at the old Alankar Theatre ( now demolished). CSH

i am sure they'll make some bullish announcement before the rights issue - they need the market to feel positive about taking them up

Am sure we will get an upgrade before any right issue as they will want the share price as high as possible as there will be less dilution
