ANAL seems totally incapable of taking a balanced view and accepting that the best laid of plans do not always come to fruition. Even the EOG BoD have stated that they are only fully funded if production is as predicted (I think the future price of oil will not have an adverse effect).

EOG have little cash (relatively speaking) for future exploration and any shortfall in revenues can only mean a return to the market for additional funds. IMO, they will be back for more no matter what Fisby produces.

perhaps unfairly, TA's post reads as if EOG were a serious producer, which it patently is not, and from the bits i have read, is unlikely to be so ..... that does not necessarily mean that the sp is already too far ahead of the game, though my gut feeling is that it is so .... it follows that i think that a number of the statements made above are more imagined than actual - e.g. #8 is something of a nonsense as there is certainly one MM offering slabs of 25k, and one can always leave an order of any size with one's broker to be filled as and when and at one's chosen price
