HARRYCAT - 05 Oct 2010 10:14 - 3028 of 6294

This is unknown territory, so no chart support. I wonder if 400p is on the cards as a support level.
Amazing that DES stays steady above 150p.

cynic - 05 Oct 2010 10:15 - 3029 of 6294

charts on this stock are particularly useless(!!), but for what it's worth, 400 could be hit before a bounce ...... i hope it's well before that!

Starting to bounce back......upgrades needed, cant be long.

cynic - 05 Oct 2010 12:56 - 3034 of 6294

i am sure they'll make some bullish announcement before the rights issue - they need the market to feel positive about taking them up

markymar - 05 Oct 2010 12:59 - 3035 of 6294

Am sure we will get an upgrade before any right issue as they will want the share price as high as possible as there will be less dilution

halifax - 05 Oct 2010 17:12 - 3036 of 6294

marky will the anticipated rights issue be announced before Rachel drilling results or after?

required field - 05 Oct 2010 20:10 - 3037 of 6294

A move to the main market will be announced with the expected rights issue.....or should be...

Proselenes - 06 Oct 2010 03:24 - 3038 of 6294

No it will not. Their plan is quite clear.

Raise money, appraise Sea Lion, get over 600 million recoverable barrels proven after appraisal and then..... move to the main market.

So expect a Rights Issue on AIM now to repay shareholders, and then an institutional placing next year after appraisals on the move to the main market.

Does it matter if they move to the main market with the capital raised or after ?.....No....the move has already been announced.....have to get your oar in...hey !.....taken any profits in the slump ?....I bet not......rights issue to repay who...? you talk some crap at times Proselenes.

chav - 06 Oct 2010 08:25 - 3040 of 6294

"you talk some crap at times Proselenes"...Pot,Kettle and Black there rf!

required field - 06 Oct 2010 08:33 - 3041 of 6294

Well he does.......if they want some more capital ...it's not to repay shareholders but to pay the riggers.....and are going to use every means to get more dosh.

greekman - 06 Oct 2010 10:15 - 3042 of 6294

'Going to use every means to get more dosh'.
Of course they are, but the way they intend to go about it will at least give existing shareholders a chance to increase their holdings, which allowing for the obvious discount should make our holdings increase in value even after dilution.
Far better than putting it out to institutions, which is quicker and cheaper for the company, but as we know a total miss out for us PI's.

required field - 06 Oct 2010 10:51 - 3043 of 6294

Don't think that they are going to do the minority shareholders any favours, but if they think that this is best way to raise capital at this point...so be it...

cynic - 06 Oct 2010 10:56 - 3044 of 6294

if the money to be raised is by rights issue rather than placing, then unless i am much mistaken, PIs will get exactly the same terms as institutions

greekman - 06 Oct 2010 16:16 - 3045 of 6294

Cynic,

I am sure you are right.

cynic - 06 Oct 2010 17:03 - 3046 of 6294

makes a change doesn't it :-))
