I'm off for my first golf lesson tomorrow. Has anyone got any tips for me...have a horrible feeling the rain will tip down.

seawallwalker - 21 Jan 2005 16:53 - 3042 of 7811

Try to hit the ball................

sandrew64 - 21 Jan 2005 16:55 - 3043 of 7811

You know me too well SWW.

Fundamentalist - 21 Jan 2005 16:56 - 3044 of 7811

sandrews

they should teach you the grip and stance, but after the that dont get too hung up on the technicalities, try and get a feel for what feels comfortable - initially your head will instinctively lift as you swing, you need to keep it down so watch a spot 1/2 inch behind the ball.

But the most important tip is enjoy it!!!!

As for SEY, nice to see the price rise, danger being its the typical IC reaction and by middle of next week it will dip back to where it was before - lets hope not

AdieH - 21 Jan 2005 16:58 - 3045 of 7811

Dont go looking for the ball before you hit it, keep yr head steady, works for me... Good Luck.

seawallwalker - 21 Jan 2005 17:00 - 3046 of 7811

Good diagnostic Funamentalist.

I think it will too.

Then there is that tight lipped thing, (Which reads like a ramp but who cares!)

And the Tiof thing, which can't be right yet.

Still looking at Banda, I cant decide which PSC area its in. if it's a or b then we are laughing, but I did not think it was.

mickeyskint - 21 Jan 2005 17:01 - 3047 of 7811

There are 4 golf courses within 5 miles of my place but I don't play. I'm more of a footie man myself. If the weather holds I'll get in the garden and with any luck a swift half down the Red Lion. What am I talking about I don't do halves and it won't be one either. Have a good one boy's and keep safe.
