charts on this stock are particularly useless(!!), but for what it's worth, 400 could be hit before a bounce ...... i hope it's well before that!

now 423.50p, so it looks like fibonacci 50% is the share price is looking for next

i am sure they'll make some bullish announcement before the rights issue - they need the market to feel positive about taking them up

Am sure we will get an upgrade before any right issue as they will want the share price as high as possible as there will be less dilution

No it will not. Their plan is quite clear.

Raise money, appraise Sea Lion, get over 600 million recoverable barrels proven after appraisal and then..... move to the main market.

So expect a Rights Issue on AIM now to repay shareholders, and then an institutional placing next year after appraisals on the move to the main market.

Well he does.......if they want some more capital ...it's not to repay shareholders but to pay the riggers.....and are going to use every means to get more dosh.

Of course they are, but the way they intend to go about it will at least give existing shareholders a chance to increase their holdings, which allowing for the obvious discount should make our holdings increase in value even after dilution.
Far better than putting it out to institutions, which is quicker and cheaper for the company, but as we know a total miss out for us PI's.

Don't think that they are going to do the minority shareholders any favours, but if they think that this is best way to raise capital at this point...so be it...

if the money to be raised is by rights issue rather than placing, then unless i am much mistaken, PIs will get exactly the same terms as institutions

sp slipping in the absence of positive news, success or otherwise of Rachel will either boost the sp or we may see a serious fall.

ignoring that RKH's sp may be artificially plumped ahead of any rights issue, other than emotionally, the effect of Rachel being a duster should have limited impact ..... RKH only have a 7.5% interest in Rachel and of course they already have a few shillings-worth of oil in the kitty .... the effect on DES would of course be very significant, which is why i only have a 50% stake there
