Hi Pete,

Congrats on all so far, you must be delighted the way things are progressing. You must be sick of emails regarding Puntland so I won’t go there. I’ve a couple of questions I hope you

can give some guidance too.

Firstly, great news on Texas but what are the likely time scales for a sale as you mentioned when I saw your presentation in London in December last year that there were several interested partied and a likely sale price of $150-200m US. Is this still a likely sale price?

Probably a bit ambitious with only 4 successful wells to date - circa 100m by q3 more realistic

Do you still anticipate passing a majority stake to shareholders?

Yep

Would this be as a dividend or RRL share buy back ( which would be my personal preference having RRL as my primary portfolio holding)

To be determined but buy back is current preference

Secondly, you have mentioned on a couple of occasions working closer with the T&T government to ensure that newsflow to shareholders is smoother. How is this progressing?

Have standardized announcement procedure now agreed - petrotrin on strike doesn't help

And, when can we expect a T&T update as news has been a little on the light side with Trinidad.

Hopefully this week

Thanks in advance for replying and a big ‘well done’ as CEO of a great company with great vision.

Kind regards

Looks like a TT update this week.

Very much appreciated.

Are there any concerns or truth behind the rumour that BP could steal our offshore Puntland from us?

Is offshore secure from a legal standpoint for Range?

Much obliged again, Pete. Thanks.

We have 3 rigs on the program as we speak - 4th to start in 2 weeks (so well and truly resumed) - strike won't affect production or next set of wells to be drilled - announcement sign offs not looking good given timing when they weren't on strike

Cheers p

Dear Peter

In light of the imminent strike of Petrotrin workers and of the already slow turnaround of announcement sign-off, please could you give any indication as to whether it would be reasonable to assume that Rig #1 maintenance has been completed, and progress on the Morne Diablo 21-well program has now been resumed?

Appreciate you're doing a great job, and that you may be restricted by contract in what you can and cannot say.

Many thanks
Best regards

Hi DC, no my visitors were playing around my Barbeque at 7.45 am this morning and one would have been in my kitchen if the door had been opened at 6.15 last evening. Mortified is not the word. Told neighbours left to right of me and saw one again at 6 ish tonight. Ringing Council tomorrow as I think it is a Public Health Issue. Sightings all over the village . Just let RRL go balistic and I will be able to get on a plane and get to hell out of here. Cannot eat or rest. Hope you had a good holiday.

For PL to say off shore Puntland is fine in the above email. I can only guess he is trying to carve something out with the Puntland goverment.
Always thought negotiations would
come up in the future. Im thinking if we had sole rights of possible oil to dwarf whats on land (billions of barrels) would the sp be sitting at its present rate.
My take on offshore was we were to get a 20% free carry. Do stand to be corrected, as there seems to be many views.

Puntland Leader Visits Dharoor Valley Hub
Puntland President Abdirahman Mohamed Mahamud ‘Faroole’ is reported to have just entered the town of Qardho in Puntland’s Karkaar province. Qardho, home to about 40,000 people, is the capital and largest city of Karkaar province and the main trading hub for the highly-prospective Dharoor valley basin, recently said to have a working petroleum system.

Faroole’s visit to this key town, the fourth largest settlement in Puntland, is his first this year. With Faroole are high ranking members of his administration. Thousands of locals came out to greet the leader, followed by convoys belonging to the press.

All of the small towns dotting the highway between Qardho and Puntland’s capital Garowe were beefed up with checkpoints and other security parameters. Puntland leaders usually split their time between the capital Garowe and the main port city Bosaso, making this visit to Qardho not only surprising, but also telling of the shift in priority for the state.

It isn’t exactly known why Faroole is visiting the town, but our correspondent in Karkaar province will have updates throughout the day covering the leader’s address.
