Morning Grevis,
Your right about great stock to hold just now. Would hate to be waiting on the sidelines trying to get a cheaper price. If any news comes out re drilling or buying then we're off again! Can't see many people forgeting about this stock right now, once the drilling date approaches buyers will be back again. Aug/Sept should be exciting times here.

Hi Patsym,
Think Gartmore have reduced their holding to 33m according to the RNS, so they sold about 5m. But 33m is still a large holding. I'm not too concerned about this, after all, they do still hold a large chunk of shares in PCI. Guess they're just banking some profits.
Perhaps Fidelity just took the 5m or so from Gartmore?
1/7 - RNS stating Fidelity hold 30,394,294
7/7 - RNS stating Carmignac hold 19,600,000
9/7 - RNS stating Gartmore hold 38,945,349
20/7 - RNS stating Fidelity hold 35,544,294
23/7 - RNS stating Gartmore hold 33,195,349
All in all, I'd say a pretty positive month re newsflow of inst buying in PCI.
Cheers
Gav

Sharewatch
EDITED BY FRANK FITZGIBBON
Petroceltic shows lively potential
LAST January we noted the air of optimism surrounding Petroceltic and tipped the exploration minnow at 5.35p (8.1c) ahead of an investment roadshow in the UK.
The shares obliged and now trade at more than 14c. We still like the story but fancy there might be more short-term action at Providence.
This week the company is due to start drilling its Blackrock prospect in the Celtic Sea. The company confirmed last week that drilling will take place for up to four weeks with further time set aside for testing potential production zones.
We have no idea what will happen despite the companys claim that the prospect holds an unrisked potential volume of up to 613m barrels of oil. But we have been around long enough to know that these ventures tend to develop a life of their own during crucial phases of the exploration process and this excitment is usually reflected in the share price.
The shares have nudged marginally higher since we gave them the nod in May but punters who dont lose their shirt at the Galway races may consider it worthwhile putting a few quid on this potentially exciting punt.

Morning all,
Good to see the bid come back to 14 after dropping to 13.5p. The trades of 378k and 250k look as if they are delayed buys to me. They went through at 9.39am and 9.28am when the offer was 14p.

Morning gavdfc. Looks as though someone is still stake building. Seems to have pulled to price back to square one this AM. Not sure we will go blue again just yet.

Morning Grevis,
More inst buying I wonder. Hope so! Seems to be the 14p mark is some sort of consolidation point just now. If so then perhaps a good base to move up from in the next few weeks gradually. Saw your name appear on the MPH thread. Good share that one, been in it for a while, def a long term hold is MPH.

Hi gavdfc: I had a look at the trades on 19 July, the day before Fidelity announced they had added 5 million. I spotted that all the big trades were going through 4 accounts and two of those have shown up today under those large transactions. Most of those buys on 19th and today were around the 14p mark. Are Fidelity still buying I wonder?
As to MPH, I do like the look of that firm. Should see 30p soon.

After getting all of Pope John Paul's luggage loaded into the limo
(and he doesn't travel light), the driver notices that the Pope is still
standing on the curb.
"Excuse me, Your Holiness," says the driver, "Would you please take
your seat so we can leave?"
"Well, to tell you the truth," says the Pope,"they never let me drive
at the Vatican, and I'd really like to drive today."
"I'm sorry but I cannot let you do that. I'd lose my job! And what if
something should happen?" protests the driver, wishing he'd never
gone to work that morning.
"There might be something extra in it for you," says the Pope.
Reluctantly, the driver gets in the back as the Pope climbs in behind
the wheel. The driver quickly regrets his decision when, after exiting
the airport, the Pontiff floors it, accelerating the limo to 105 mph.
"Please slow down, Your Holiness!!!" pleads the worried driver, but
the Pope keeps the pedal to the metal until they hear sirens.
"Oh, dear God, I'm gonna lose my license," moans the driver.
The Pope pulls over and rolls down the window as the cop approaches,
but the cop takes one look at him, goes back to his motorcycle, and
gets on the radio.
"I need to talk to the Chief," he says to the dispatcher.
The Chief gets on the radio and the cop tells him that he's stopped a
limo going a hundred and five.
"So bust him," says the Chief.
"I don't think we want to do that, he's really important," said the
cop.
The Chief exclaimed,"All the more reason!"
"No, I mean really important," said the cop.
The Chief then asked, "Who ya got there, the Mayor?"
Cop: "Bigger."
Chief: "Governor?"
Cop: "Bigger."
"Well," said the Chief, "Who is it?"
Cop: "I think it's God!"
Chief: "What makes you think it's God?"
Cop: "He's got the fu*king Pope as a driver!!"

Grevis, good spot re the trades on the 19th. If they bought on the 19th at 14p, then today would be a good chance for them to get more at 14p, the price the bigger trades were done at today. If they release an RNS confirming inst buying soon, then we could be on the move again. Very interesting!
For MPH, I'll be holding long past 30p, but we could hit that very soon indeed.
Think there was a big seller previously dumping shares and holding the sp back. Seems like the sellers gone now and the sp has broke out it's recent range.
As to the joke, LOL!!!!

Another delayed buy through from 12.07 at 14.5p. Starting to look like a decent day now. Agree now that 14p does seem to be the bottom, didn't stay too long at 13.5.

Moving up now. MM in for a 100k at 14.5p. Looks like a buy as both bid and offer moved up.
