bullshit! ..... just use basic maths .... a 50% stake means i hold 1/2 the value of 100% stake - doh! simples innit! .... it's not much different from saying someone is rich or poor ..... it's a matter of degree .... just own up and admit you're just bloody nosey to know how much i invest each time

THE Falkland Islands are poised for a 3BILLION bonanza after tests showed an oil field off their shores is HUGE.

UK company Rockhopper Exploration said its drillings indicated 240 MILLION barrels were waiting to be tapped.

And some experts believe there are 700 MILLION.

The tax take from the Sea Lion field 140 miles north of the islands in the South Atlantic will be at least 2.5billion over 20 years at current prices.

It is the first commercially viable discovery in the region and could make the Falklands a fully fledged "oil province".

Finlay Thomson, oil analyst at City broker Canaccord, said: "This is enormous."
Rockhopper made its find in May but it will be at least a year before it draws up plans to start production.

Its shares leapt by 13 per cent yesterday to 470p - TEN TIMES their value in March. The company is now worth almost 900million. Other British companies have failed to strike lucky in the area.

Sources say the UK will want half of the tax take.

Argentina wants the UN to ban drilling.

At the moment waiting from what point is bouncing (fibonacci), it went under the 437p ( 38.2% fibonacci retracement) , so the normal thing is wait if it goes to the next step 50% or 403p.

It went as low as intraday 421p but as the market has been strong is having some support around the 430/435p now
