SWW,
Merrils upgraded PMO from sell to neutral.
"Merrill has reviewed the UK Oil & Gas Explorers and has raised EPS estimates across the board by 19% for 2005, and 14% for 2006 after raising Brent forecasts. They have upgrade Premier Oil (PMO.L) to neutral from sell and have raised targets in Paladin Resources (PLR.L) to 210p from 200p and Tullow (TLW.L) to 180p from 175p. Their best value play is Cairn Energy (CNE.L) (target 1450p)."
A southern comfort would go down nice just now! Maybe a bit early though...

Nice RNS. A few more of these would help the cause, as would some drilling reports over the coming months.
Time for a drink I think.

We'll get Chinguetti update soon... as you'll know they only mention weekly Tiof developments. But as we've had activity on Ching for a month now and no news, it also means that there is no bad news!
Share price strengthening nicely on strong volume.

They've dumped .5m since 3/12 when they owned 43.1m or 3.09%...... not bought!! There was no need for any rns, imo, as their holding did not pass through a full percentage point.

Seems to be a bit of confusion here. The RNS today states:
"24 January 2005 by The Moore Credit Fund (Master),
L.O. that, as of 20 January 2005, it was interested in 42,600,000 ordinary
shares of 1p each in the Company, representing 3.06 per cent."
And from the RNS of 3/12/04 mentioned in Hilary's post:
"The Company was informed on 2 December 2004 by The Moore Macro Fund L.P. that as
of 22 November 2004 it was interested in 43,100,000 ordinary shares of 1p each
in the Company, representing 3.09 per cent."
So we have the Moore Credit Fund (Master) L.O. and The Moore Macro Fund L.P.
