Monitise--mobile banking the way ahead (MONI)

moneyplus - 09 Oct 2007 10:51

I dismissed this company as froth when I first looked at it. Since then the sp has doubled and continues to steadily rise. I looked again and when I saw the countries and contracts this firm is in---I was impressed and bought some to tuck away. anyone else bought in or interested?

StockMarketWire.com
Berenberg Bank has downgraded its recommendation on mobile technology business Monitise (LON:MONI) to "hold" from "buy" believing the company's mobile banking opportunity has now been fully captured in the share price. In terms of future catalysts, the broker went on to say: "Although the recent capital increase and partnership with Mastercard should increase the likelihood of a successful ramp-up of mobile commerce and mobile payment services, we think these are still at the concept stage." Nevertheless, analysts have increased their price target to 74 pence per share (previously 70 pence).

Soon will be ripe for a buy again, a good volatile stock to make money from time to time

Bought some at 58.20p

lets see if the support plays a way of a bounce

mitzy - 08 Apr 2014 12:15 - 312 of 682

55p to buy.

panto - 08 Apr 2014 12:47 - 313 of 682

Let see IF you manage the 55p you say, the lowest AT was at 56p

panto - 08 Apr 2014 13:21 - 314 of 682

I took the view that he 200 days MA at 58.62p now, was good support at the time to buy the stock, but on a rapid fall ( spike ) like this morning the price some times overshoots and that was the case with moni, the bounce back was fast, so I am glad I bought on the way down as most likley I would have missed the buy at that price.

I doubt he put that in to lose money !

skinny - 11 Apr 2014 15:43 - 323 of 682

Strange that he was appointed last September but he has waited this long to show faith in his company!

i've been watching these since it went from 50 to 80, wondering if now is a good entry point...........cant see any reason why its dropped so much! anybody think its because of the general bear feeling within the market?
