Looks to me like the same wolf, gavdfc, just different sheep.

seawallwalker - 24 Jan 2005 21:15 - 3087 of 7811

I think:-

Same wolf but different fund.

That is why there was an RNS.

They have to declare over 3%.

So they have over 6% now.....................

Candles apparently confirm that this is a break away. (From advfn).

Tea leaves are not quite so clear on the issue but I should have emptied the cup of all liquid first.

I am amazed at how little people really know about this, and I include me in that.

Lots of guesswork but no real knowledge.

I am asking elsewhere too so hopefully we will get an answer.

May be a load of tosh to some but we may as well have an answer to this.

hilary - 25 Jan 2005 09:02 - 3088 of 7811

Interesting idea to get someone from Moores on here, seawallwalker. Maybe Louis Bacon himself will turn up.

:o)

I'm also intrigued by the break away chart pattern. How do they work exactly? Are they anything to do with short holidays or chocolate bars?

biscuit_breakaway.jpg

On a serious note, I think that you're being a bit premature in calling a head and shoulders chart patterm just yet. Certainly not until the right shoulder is in place (around 17p or 17.5p) and the price action is actually moving down towards the neckline (14.5p or thereabouts) again. Confirmation comes with a move down through the neckline. Incidentally, why are you getting so excited about a possible H & S? That's a bearish chart pattern. Aren't you meant to be a Permabull?

seawallwalker - 25 Jan 2005 09:11 - 3089 of 7811

You got excited hilary so why can't anyone else?

Reserved to you is it?

Personally I rely more on tea leaves and the stars.

Probably more accurate.

You just can't help yourself can you?

Say Moo!

hilary - 25 Jan 2005 09:18 - 3090 of 7811

"Personally I rely more on tea leaves and the stars."

Now there's a surprise. May I take it that we won't be getting an answer as to what a break away chart pattern is then?

StarFrog - 25 Jan 2005 09:45 - 3091 of 7811

Er, isn't it Tuesday?

goal - 25 Jan 2005 09:58 - 3092 of 7811

Its gone above the resistance line 17p & now becomes the support line.

proptrade - 25 Jan 2005 10:04 - 3093 of 7811

its BANTER day!

Hils, welcome back to you! for the record any change in shareholding by any holder of 3% or more must be reported (even if a single share is bought or sold whilst over 3%).

PT

hilary - 25 Jan 2005 10:14 - 3094 of 7811

Sorry, proptrade, but that's not strictly true.

Holdings which pass either way through the 3% level need to be reported, together with subsequent changes which pass either way through higher levels at increments of 1%. For example a holding which changed from 3.01% to 3.99% would not need to be reported, but a holding which changed from 3.99% to 4.01% (or vice versa) would need to be reported.

proptrade - 25 Jan 2005 10:23 - 3095 of 7811

fair enough, i took my stock exchange exams in london, singapore and indonesia and may have mixed one or two or the rules up!

anyway since this is not life threatening i will give you the benefit of the doubt. i can't be bothered to reread the Companies Act 1985!

Fundamentalist - 25 Jan 2005 10:29 - 3096 of 7811

Prop

hils is correct - it is when the holding passes through a whole % point either way

OT - any of you guys invested in DNX - another nice deal confirmed this am and more to come - even hils would like the chart on this one

hilary - 25 Jan 2005 10:34 - 3097 of 7811

That's good ....... I knew you'd see the light.

:o)

So do you think that Louis Bacon will continue selling till he's cleared out his holding? Or do you think that he's actually doubled it to over 6% as suggested by seawallwalker? Or do you think that he won't do anything at all?

hilary - 25 Jan 2005 10:38 - 3098 of 7811

Fundy,

If you scour through the Traders Thread on the pay per view from about 18 months ago you'd discover that Dana's an Israeli transvestite.

I'm still long, btw.

:o)

Fundamentalist - 25 Jan 2005 10:40 - 3099 of 7811

Hils roflmao

when you say you are long - on DNX i assume not SEY? If so - may i ask your target price/timescale

With regard to the holding RNS - why would there have been an announcement if it is not a separate holding?

hilary - 25 Jan 2005 10:55 - 3100 of 7811

Fundy,

Yes Dana, I'm only watching SEY atm. I don't have a target and will stay long all the time that it continues to go up.

Re the rns, I don't really know why Moore issued it. I'll hazard a guess that they simply transferred the holding to a different fund and thought they'd best try to dot the "i's" and cross the "t's". I doubt that they own 6% seeing as the figures were nice round numbers and different by exactly 0.5m. I'm only guessing though and may be wrong.

Borrowed from elsewhere.

Do you need yours posting for camparison hilary or can you remember what you drew?

By the way, unlike you, I have never purported to be an expert.

Made any more 1/2 millions from 10 grand lately?

hilary.

Sorry for the delay in answering but I dont carry a computer on the seawall.

You are obviously a very clever person who makes a very good living at this.

What mystifies me and others I am sure is why you want others to lose money?

If that is not your intention then your little jibes and pokes at this stock may make people sell and therefore lose money when they see your 'intelligent and informed' comments.

Personally, I would like you either on board as a holder so you can ride with us, or shorting if you think this stock is doomed.

As you dont have the courage to do either, why not work on your next million on forex and leave us poor mugs alone until you do.

I could come to your thread and talk cable as I know a few scrap dealers who but I think that is not fair on the people who use that thread.

My sum total knowledge of forex!

Do you have the same principles?

I will answer that for you as you answer your own questions to me.

Not any time soon I suppose.

Now goodbye, you are again filtered.

Oh the beauty of the edit button!

moneyplus - 25 Jan 2005 11:38 - 3105 of 7811

Off to the seawall and take some deep breaths!! This time next year we'll all be smiling-I hope.
