"Personally I rely more on tea leaves and the stars."
Now there's a surprise. May I take it that we won't be getting an answer as to what a break away chart pattern is then?

its BANTER day!
Hils, welcome back to you! for the record any change in shareholding by any holder of 3% or more must be reported (even if a single share is bought or sold whilst over 3%).

Sorry, proptrade, but that's not strictly true.
Holdings which pass either way through the 3% level need to be reported, together with subsequent changes which pass either way through higher levels at increments of 1%. For example a holding which changed from 3.01% to 3.99% would not need to be reported, but a holding which changed from 3.99% to 4.01% (or vice versa) would need to be reported.

That's good ....... I knew you'd see the light.
:o)
So do you think that Louis Bacon will continue selling till he's cleared out his holding? Or do you think that he's actually doubled it to over 6% as suggested by seawallwalker? Or do you think that he won't do anything at all?

Fundy,
If you scour through the Traders Thread on the pay per view from about 18 months ago you'd discover that Dana's an Israeli transvestite.
I'm still long, btw.

Hils roflmao
when you say you are long - on DNX i assume not SEY? If so - may i ask your target price/timescale
With regard to the holding RNS - why would there have been an announcement if it is not a separate holding?

Fundy,
Yes Dana, I'm only watching SEY atm. I don't have a target and will stay long all the time that it continues to go up.
Re the rns, I don't really know why Moore issued it. I'll hazard a guess that they simply transferred the holding to a different fund and thought they'd best try to dot the "i's" and cross the "t's". I doubt that they own 6% seeing as the figures were nice round numbers and different by exactly 0.5m. I'm only guessing though and may be wrong.

Do you need yours posting for camparison hilary or can you remember what you drew?
By the way, unlike you, I have never purported to be an expert.

hilary.
Sorry for the delay in answering but I dont carry a computer on the seawall.
You are obviously a very clever person who makes a very good living at this.
What mystifies me and others I am sure is why you want others to lose money?
If that is not your intention then your little jibes and pokes at this stock may make people sell and therefore lose money when they see your 'intelligent and informed' comments.
Personally, I would like you either on board as a holder so you can ride with us, or shorting if you think this stock is doomed.
As you dont have the courage to do either, why not work on your next million on forex and leave us poor mugs alone until you do.
I could come to your thread and talk cable as I know a few scrap dealers who but I think that is not fair on the people who use that thread.
My sum total knowledge of forex!
Do you have the same principles?
I will answer that for you as you answer your own questions to me.
Not any time soon I suppose.
Now goodbye, you are again filtered.

Time will tell wont it?
May have to repost all that later just for devilment.
I have emailed Sterling asking about holdings.
If I get an answer I will post it here.
Such a small thing really but we may as well know what is what and perhaps we can all say with authority who holds what.

thanks for comments re DNX - ive been holding since pre consolidation days - bought at about 12p initially (180p current equivalent). Fundamentals still very strong and getting stronger with the asset swap deals, expecting approx 32m profit EPS 43p PE 11.5, next year 47m profit EPS 64p forward PE 7.9.

seawallwalker,
You'll not be able to read this of course, but you really should think about visting a shrink. You might not like my comments, but atm I have a totally open mind on the future direction of SEY and have not suggested to the contrary. I am sorry if that does not suit you. If I do decide to short it again, I'll be sure to let you know.
Regarding the h & s, if it subsequently does transpire to be a h & s, I would argue that the left shoulder would actually be the high in July '04 and not at the level shown on the Updata chart. As I said previously, it's premature to call a h & s before the right shoulder is in place and it is normal to wait for a break of the neckline. Thank you also for the link to Chart School ..... may I suggest that you read it yourself sometime as it's patently obvious that you have much to learn!
Btw, you still didn't answer why you were excited at the prospect of a h & s given that it's a bearish pattern.
