Let's hope it's a success. Can just imagine Kirtchner's reaction!

This does correspond to crew change and both ships being in harbour and so leaks happening.
Of course, striking oil is not price sensitive news as only when its wirelined and confirmed net pay does it become price sensitive.
So we may now be just seeing the oil chatter being spread by crews.

It looks like they have encountered oil by the sp reaction but is it commercial ?.....very encouraging for the rest of the acreage if so regardless of outcome here....

1100p valuation for Darwin prospect on its own, will be great if there is oil there. Keep them fingers crossed for a confirmed net oil pay RNS to come in due course......
Mirabaud comment :
As expected, Borders’ share price has ticked up over the past weeks and months in anticipation and, although mindful of the somewhat binary nature of pure exploration plays, we like the acreage and the management, and are confident that Borders has the technical understanding to unlock the potential of the basin.
With the Darwin prospect alone worth £11/shr, we rate this stock as a BUY, with a price target of 150p.

Too dangerous to short this.....nothing is sure yet but by the market's reaction : it looks good.....like I said even if this first well only encounters a certain smallish amount of oil : it will be good for the rest of this first drilling campaign ......
