pretty new to all this. I have pumped some into Deltex - looks like a strong product with good growth. Could be a steady gainer.
Does anyone else have this, and anyone have some research on it? Someone with more experience than me!

Yet another cracking RNS.
Increased sales with new contracts must surely now be just round the corner.
I would think those linked to Deltex must feel like that wall they are continually banging their heads against is finally starting to crumble.
If ever patience is tried it is being involved in this share.
When will the powers that be wake up to this no brainer.
I would be amazed if we reach the end of 2006 without a significant rise in the sp.

The message is slowly being spread ever wider, and surely some of the surgeons at that conference will get the message home to the powers that be who 'manage' their hospitals and health care services, whether in the USA, Europe or NHS.

The results overall in my opinion look good, especially as they were the six months to end of June. Look what we have heard/read since.

From the results......
Turnover increased by over 20% in direct markets
25% increase in gross profit
1,241,000 in new equity raised after expenses (including 585,000
announced in this results statement)
It appears the increased six month loss due to the one offs has jittered the market.
My focus is definitely on the next six months. In my opinion end of 2006 start of 2007 will be very telling for Deltex.

Wonder how many people are employed in Deltexs sales team? Are they paid on commission? If the answers 1 and no then that explains the sp.

Another trial looking good,(this time the SupraQ monitor), although I have seen clearer write ups as it looks like details of the trial with no results as yet.
But it then states 'The results were published in the medical journal Anesthesia and Analgesia'. Note the word RESULTS.
Unfortunately the site is subscription only. Hopefully there will be more press later on.
Will keep looking for a way into these results.

Would be nice either way. If it comes to the placing first, they will have no trouble if they can produce some back up to possible contracts, such as letters of intent. There must surely be a few bodies (no pun intended) out there who are looking to sign, for this product.

This technology has received more medical journals, good reports and recommendations than anything I can remember. Still though no significient orders, makes you wonder why. Whos responsible for the companies PR and marketing, I believe this is all thats needed to get revenue coming in.

Morning,Explosive and all other Deltex weary holders,(we will get there but it's a bloody long struggle).

Could be right, as follow up news items in the general (none medical) media are few and far between after these good test results we keep hearing about. Although I do think many private medical facilities look at the NHS and think 'If it's so good why are there no big volume take ups in our so called National service'.
Perhaps Deltex need to spend some cash on advertising the product. Also I wonder how many national newspapers would run with the story, that the NHS patients are missing out on life saving, and time saving treatment due to NHS mismanagement yet again. Now when Mr Cameron and the Tories get elected, things will drastically change. Within a short time our NHS will be once again be the envy of the world. OK only joking, will believe it when it happens. I have no faith in the lot of them. Rant over back to normality.

Public awareness is the key so that people demand the technology. At the very least I expect the press would love to run a story on how the government, after xxxxxxxx amount of medical journals missed the chance to save 's p/y and save lives failed to spot new technology!! Maybe all shareholders picket London and demonstrate for it. Bet the media would love it......

Well, as I have been told, the pressure on the health authorities to get their house in order grows by the day, and each new study merely adds to the pressure.

You may have seen the other articles, but I don't think anyone has yet read a copy of the recent HSJ article. The HSJ (Health Service Journal) is mainly aimed at NHS management professionals.

I have pushed DEMG for over a year to get more aggressive in their approach, but even though they obviously sympathise with that demand, they have to be a lot more professional and less emotional than us as investors.

They have told me that they have to pursue a soflty, softly approach whilst at the same time, gradually increasing the pressure....and they are now doing that. They have stressed to me that the people they must not alienate in all of this, are the doctors themselves....they are the ultimate key to everything. As well as targetting health administrators, DEMG are also liasing with patient groups and politicians.....just read again what Patricia Hewitt, the Health Secretary says on the website.

Just to remind people what we are talking about here, I would like to highlight once again, a small extract from the Scotsman article that says so much about the potential of this company (and that's IN THE UK ALONE)......

'Professor Mythen added: "One million patients treated by the NHS could benefit from this procedure every year. There are clearly significant financial savings possible."'

Now, at 50 per probe (let's exclude any potential monitor sales which in themselves would be very substantial), that would be 50m of probe sales pa in the UK alone. Probe sales are very profitable. Half of that could easily fall through to the bottom line, giving a profit of.....well, I'll let you do the simple sums.

That alone could make this stock a 25 bagger, and that's before the rest of the world comes a calling.

Of course, this is a dream scenario but it highlights the potential upside if even a decent fraction of that were to happen. DEMG have a CURRENT clinical demand of 300,000 probes. In plain english, that means that there are doctors out there in the UK at the moment that want to use DEMG probes to the tune of 300k probes pa if they could only release the funding from the idiots that hold the purse strings.

I would settle for just the current clinical demand alone....that could give us an SP of around
140p - 150p. That would certainly be worth the wait.

Anyway, enjoy reading the articles and watching the Sky TV clip. The pressure on the NHS chiefs grows by the day.
