Just back from the cafe and the Real Madrid-Barcelona game ("El Clasico"). It was a packed house, a great night out and a really good game.

Beckham played very well and should be credited with three "assists" and Owen scored (of course) to wrap up a cool 4-2 win for "El Blancos".

Was standing room only, except for we regulars... ;-)

im due a final answer from the planners tomorrow - still not holding my breath. the renovation work is coming on, finally got the "dangerous" chimney removed and the internal structure is nearly finished

yes been watching and trading the golf, woods bogeying 17 and 18 made me a nice few quid

like anything it will happen, its just an incredibly frustrating bureaucratic system based on planners personal taste and opinion

ive been through it before and no doubt ill do it again - just a glutton for it i suppose lol

I think that is the worst part of the chaos that is the planning process, it almost becomes personal, which is totally wrong, but from the comments I have managed to catch hasn't really held you up as yet??

Weve managed to get on with some of the renovation works but we are over 3 mths late starting the extension and hence will be 3 mths late (at least) finishing the whole project - however we are now planning to move in before the extension is finished

right time for bed - ill let you know when to get the good stuff out
