Proselenes - 18 Apr 2012 09:00 - 318 of 1086

cynic might be short he was backing his flukey short I think ?

required field - 18 Apr 2012 09:01 - 319 of 1086

No : he closed it .....he shorted at the right time....between spudding and target depth......

required field - 18 Apr 2012 09:03 - 320 of 1086

It looks like they have encountered oil by the sp reaction but is it commercial ?.....very encouraging for the rest of the acreage if so regardless of outcome here....

required field - 18 Apr 2012 09:08 - 321 of 1086

20% increase so far today.....

Proselenes - 18 Apr 2012 09:11 - 322 of 1086

Darwin unrisked (eg oil find) is worth 1100p a share.

Slam some dilution in an say 500p ?

required field - 18 Apr 2012 09:12 - 323 of 1086

I wonder how Blackadder and Baldrick are getting on in their speedboat near the rig.....?

Proselenes - 18 Apr 2012 09:14 - 324 of 1086

1100p valuation for Darwin prospect on its own, will be great if there is oil there. Keep them fingers crossed for a confirmed net oil pay RNS to come in due course......

Mirabaud comment :

As expected, Borders’ share price has ticked up over the past weeks and months in anticipation and, although mindful of the somewhat binary nature of pure exploration plays, we like the acreage and the management, and are confident that Borders has the technical understanding to unlock the potential of the basin.

With the Darwin prospect alone worth £11/shr, we rate this stock as a BUY, with a price target of 150p.

All "Foilkies" up this morning...all of them....

cynic - 18 Apr 2012 09:26 - 326 of 1086

well done chaps, if market reaction is well-founded

cynic - 18 Apr 2012 09:31 - 327 of 1086

get your facts right MrP ..... i posted weeks ago when i closed my short and have commented several times since that i was not and would not short further

required field - 18 Apr 2012 09:34 - 328 of 1086

Too dangerous to short this.....nothing is sure yet but by the market's reaction : it looks good.....like I said even if this first well only encounters a certain smallish amount of oil : it will be good for the rest of this first drilling campaign ......

Shortie - 18 Apr 2012 09:34 - 329 of 1086

Looking good for my long spreads....

required field - 18 Apr 2012 09:36 - 330 of 1086

Blimey longs.... hey....risky...I have some shares but spreads I considered very high risk unless you took them out this morning...

required field - 18 Apr 2012 09:40 - 331 of 1086

Nearly 30% increase so far this morning.....regretting not taking out a long myself now....

cynic - 18 Apr 2012 09:40 - 332 of 1086

and have just had a dabble at 85.5

HARRYCAT - 18 Apr 2012 09:43 - 333 of 1086

Welcome on board Mr C!!! A tad late but lookin' good!

Proselenes - 18 Apr 2012 09:44 - 334 of 1086

Sea Lion discovery RNS came out at 12:10.

So RNS could be anytime this morning, this afternoon, tomorrow morning......... just a case of wait and see.

required field - 18 Apr 2012 09:44 - 335 of 1086

Off topic ; I can never understand why the petrol stations don't put above or on the pumps a sign with the origin of where the fuel comes from....would make it more interesting and dehumanise the monotony of just fillin' up.....

required field - 18 Apr 2012 09:48 - 336 of 1086

Well...it looks like something hes been discovered here....the only other time I can remember when a rise like this happened and it went all pearshaped is when NOP were drilling on the Isle of Wight....

cynic - 18 Apr 2012 09:49 - 337 of 1086

i do not have and never did have any problem in entering late .... prudent is what i would call it
