Hi DD, not sunny here. North Wales seem to get its fair share of sunshine.

stockbunny - 13 Apr 2005 13:35 - 3285 of 24230

Cheers Fundy I'll bear that in mind and thanks! :>)

Afternoon one and all,
Did the local A&E dept this morning with number two son, a
victim (or rather his little finger was) of rugby yesterday.
Fortunately it turns out it's 'soft tissue damage' and nothing
broken. I feel better for it being xray'ed frankly as it looks
like a short order black/purple sausage!

Market's not too bad today :>)

jj50 - 13 Apr 2005 14:10 - 3286 of 24230

What a start to the day Bunny - glad
OK (right or left hand!):-)

Thanks Fundy, shall remember that
offer! You are organised...

stockbunny - 13 Apr 2005 14:39 - 3287 of 24230

LOL - you'll love this JJ...
He's right handed and the injury is on his right hand therefore
having removed the sling supplied at the hospital (quote)
I'm not wearing that! (unquote) he will be taking it to school
when he returns tomorrow cos 'obviously' he wont be able to write
with his right arm in a sling!

I'm writing to take him out of PE until all swelling/bruising
has gone down and on the sling business...well I'm keeping out of it!

jeffmack - 13 Apr 2005 15:21 - 3288 of 24230

Just back from the dentist. Got to go to hospital tomorrow to have a tooth out...ouch. Need two crowns and because I havent been for 18 months they will only treat me privately. They want 180 or 300 for each crown...bigger ouch

stockbunny - 13 Apr 2005 15:28 - 3289 of 24230

OOUUUCCCHHHHHH
JeffMack you need a beer!

optomistic - 13 Apr 2005 15:38 - 3290 of 24230

Jeff, somehow I don't think you would qualify for treatment on the NHS. You would still have to pay if you had been within the 'time' I think it is 15 months. Pay up and then you can give us all a huge smile :-))

hilary - 13 Apr 2005 15:42 - 3291 of 24230

Get yourself pregnant, Jeffie ........ you can get free dental treatment then.

:o)

stockbunny - 13 Apr 2005 15:44 - 3292 of 24230

Now I know he's a clever bunny Hils but somehow I don't
think he's that clever! LOL

hilary - 13 Apr 2005 15:50 - 3293 of 24230

Actually I know somebody who found a dentist offereng free NHS dental work a while back. He went along there only to find there was a great long queue of convicts from the local prison who were handcuffed to their guards. He decided to scrap the appointment and pay for the treatment elsewhere!

jeffmack - 13 Apr 2005 16:00 - 3294 of 24230

Just when you think it cant get any worse..... the wife is dragging me off to Lakeside

stockbunny - 13 Apr 2005 16:03 - 3295 of 24230

Ah bless him....

OK it's over and out from the warren folks, time to
hand over to the wounded soldier to report to his mates
his injury.
Have a good evening all! :>)
