Too dangerous to short this.....nothing is sure yet but by the market's reaction : it looks good.....like I said even if this first well only encounters a certain smallish amount of oil : it will be good for the rest of this first drilling campaign ......

Sea Lion discovery RNS came out at 12:10.
So RNS could be anytime this morning, this afternoon, tomorrow morning......... just a case of wait and see.

Off topic ; I can never understand why the petrol stations don't put above or on the pumps a sign with the origin of where the fuel comes from....would make it more interesting and dehumanise the monotony of just fillin' up.....

Well...it looks like something hes been discovered here....the only other time I can remember when a rise like this happened and it went all pearshaped is when NOP were drilling on the Isle of Wight....

0917 GMT [Dow Jones] Borders & Southern Petroleum (BOR.LN) shares soar over 33% to 93p, with traders noting market speculation that the company has struck oil around the Falkland Islands. However, a spokesman for the company says it hasn't received drilling results yet and will update the market as soon as the results come in. Shares in other Falkland Islands explorers are also up in sympathy, including Falkland Oil & Gas Ltd.
