Topped up on the market shake.....now looking at a great medium term investment here......a 100p sp should not be beyond this stock , and TW on t1ps.com values this at nothing less than 150p..that's 3 times the current price so a steady climb should be coming in weeks ahead !.

Jubilee Platinum advances South African project to feasibility
* Sees 368 mln tonnes as possible exploration target.
June 4 (Reuters) - Jubilee Platinum Plc said it would proceed to a feasibility study of the Tjate project in South Africa after a report indicated that the project could possibly contain an attributable 44 million ounces of platinum-group elements (PGE) and gold.
'The company calculates an attributable value at prevailing market prices of $30 billion to the aforementioned possible metal, for which the viability of its recovery has yet to be established in future studies as the project develops,' Jubilee said on Thursday.
The mining exploration and development company said the results from the mineral resource statement gives it the confidence to proceed to feasibility study and if appropriate development.
Based on the resource data, the company believes an exploration target of some 368 million tonnes, before geological losses, is possible for the three farms of its 63 percent-owned Tjate project.

Well it was as high as 120p a couple of years ago, before the feasibility study was completed so although demand for platinum is currently low I would expect a re-test of those highs at least over the coming weeks.

Not only that, but a doubling of platinum prices is entirely possible as the demand for catalytic converters plays itself out.

From UK Analyst Zak Mir:
"There has been a U shaped recovery in place since late last year and I was expecting the stock to go from 20p 40p on a three month view. In fact, we have needed rather less than three weeks for the shares to exceed 40p. I note that the new fundamental target is supposed to be 57p. But without wishing to tempt fate I would suggest that the shares will complete the U shaped recovery to end back at last Aprils 90p plus zone possibly as soon as 3 months and probably no longer than 6 months from now. Only sustained price action below 30p the 10 day moving average is likely to delay such a scenario."

The pullback might just a mirror image of the drop on the other side of the graph...might be ?, before resuming the climb...possibly !.

Frankly : there is a very big chance here of a takeover by a big company....it just depends on their long term view of platinum !....they could pay upwards of 100p for this jewel and still be quids in !...what with the massive amount of metal in the ground, I'm quite surprised that there hasn't been an approach yet !.

I'm assuming Zak Mir is refering to the 'cup and handle' when talking of a 'U'. As you can see from the SP action the cup is formed and the retrace is the beginning of the handle. Generally the SP will continue it's upward momentum when the handle is complete, can't remember the percentages but the retrace is probably about 33% of the preceeding move.
If you believe in these esoteric patterns.

Sell JLP - now collapsing at 36p.
