Ouch! I hold MRW from higher up, have been hanging on to 250p for a while now but it looks to be breaking down. As a stock I've never lost money on it, but it seems to have forgotten that fact!
I think it is falling out of favour because it's not really got its position in the supermarket pecking order sorted. Wants to be cheap but Lidl & Aldi have nabbed that crown, it usually isn't that cheap apart from the occasional specials, and can't claim the M&S / Waitrose / Sainsbury high ground as it just doesn't have that feel.
In its favour, I think it's a much, much better organised beast than it used to be so I'm surprised to see it struggling.
But you want to know what I think about price. I'm surprised the price is so low, but can see it falling further until it gets on people's radar again and comes back into favour. Sorry, that probably's not a lot of help.

GKN breakout.......
This looks like the real thing
this time a true breakout after
what 6 or so attempts.
Usualy get dynamic moves up afterwards
as latent supply above the range as
been drawn into the range due to holders getting
impatient and then leaving SP ranges above
the original resistance threadbare and easily
to navigate through with reasonable demand
ie buyers.
CHOCKS AWAY.......................

MRW.... was talking well tweeting with Nick Bubb(retail Guru) the other day talking about ocardo and I mentioned both MRW and Marks were looking for takeover targets to boost theit online offering which is what I think MRWs problem is.
He agreed but I pointed out that ocardos NAV tangible assets were only worth about 34p/35p he agreed and said for them to purchase orcardo Sp would have to drop to around 50p/55p.
At 115p reckon theyl be waiting a long time. etc etc.
He mentioned Iceland as a poss takeover target. Dont know that much about the company myself. Do know they do deliverys but you have to shop in store and pay their and then and they just deliver rather than the online payment selection and pay method.
Looks like both didnt have foresight and now paying.

Dow back over 14000.
2 senarios I reckon.
a, market is approaching top with added volatility a sign of a market top
b, we are in for one hell of a bull market and M@A activity may drive world indicies much higher, lets not forget all the cash stuffed in company balance sheets, something like $80 billion or is it $800 billionworld wide.
Not only that but company P/Es are pretty cheap compared to historical ratios.
Personaly I hope its option B but by god its making for a lot of research and not much sleep he he.

I see in IC the chairman of N Brown Andrew Higginson purchased 25,000 shares at
368p worth £93,840 just after christmas. Then soon after another purchase of 56,349 shares worth £213.095. A strong vote of confidence in the new boss (Angela Spindler) chief exec and the future of the business.

I am not sure whether OML and AV. have been posted lately.
Charts are promising for short term swing trading between the regression channels.
Indicators are promising.
Will post charts if they haven't already been done.

Dropped out of Barc at hectic run at 328, but think this is again ripe for the pickings.

Is it possible to add a search facility for the thread based on epics.
Would be useful.

Takes about 30 seconds to finally get to the latest post, is it just me or is it for all?

Loading the last page takes me about the same time, but what I would like is to be able to scan back through the whole thread to see if there was previous information and charts in order not to duplicate it.

Yep chaps its all the code that takes time to load. We could go onto 3 charts horizontal but when I tried this last time we got posters posting long horizontal posts and mucking things up.
Fred oml and av. if thet fit the criteria I will post them in the charts header.
Search facility for previous chart???.
Not sure. Skinny will be the one to ask hes the techie.
And yep sorrry it does take a while to load, please just be patient. I tend to just click on last post and check on something else, when you get back its all ok.
cheers GF.
