Stormy where are you?

STORMCALLER - 16 Apr 2005 00:08 - 3405 of 24230

South London, near Croydon, don't know what I've done wrong..:)

Spaceman - 16 Apr 2005 00:10 - 3406 of 24230

thats explains it, I am in the Hastings abode at the moment not Sevenoaks.

STORMCALLER - 16 Apr 2005 00:11 - 3407 of 24230

Spaceman,
Oops sorry, but then geography is my weakest point, which is saying something as I have such a wide selection, could, and do, get lost getting out of bed...

STORMCALLER - 16 Apr 2005 02:00 - 3408 of 24230

Slaved away all night for little reward.....except the presence of friends which makes it all worthwhile..:-)

G'night
Gotta Blow

Just woken up, this hammock is far too comfortable. I'll put the kettle on and thinbk about having an FEB. Then I'll have two.

Spaceman - 16 Apr 2005 09:59 - 3410 of 24230

Morning all, bright and sunny in hastings, I think i will go for a bit of a drive today, not sure where.

jeffmack - 16 Apr 2005 10:40 - 3411 of 24230

space
Always seems a bit strange to me having a house in Hastings and another in Sevenoaks, as they are not that far apart. Most people go for a second home some distance away.

Socrates - 16 Apr 2005 11:10 - 3412 of 24230

Spaceman
If I were you, I would drive to Hastings. It's so much nicer to end up at home. Where you go en-route is up for grabs.

Spaceman - 16 Apr 2005 11:26 - 3413 of 24230

jeff, its not really a second home, we bought Sevenoaks intending to move there but we have structural problems with it which have been the subject of legal action for 4 years. When we get it sorted out we will probably move to Sevenoaks however we might sell both and move somehwere else, maybe Norfolk, mabe the south pacific !

Socs, now thats not a bad idea, could save a bit on petrol as well ;-)

Spaceman - 16 Apr 2005 12:53 - 3414 of 24230

well at last I have decided where to go for my drive, isn't this fascinating? shows just what an exciting life I lead ;-)

Hastings/rye/lydd/headcorn/tenterden/hastings.

Reminder to myself, don't forget to take a selection of anoraks.

Spaceman - 16 Apr 2005 20:40 - 3415 of 24230

I am back and guess what, just to show what an adventurer I am I did the route above but .......

In the other direction ...

And I had a cup of tea at Headcorn airfield

and

wait for it

2 cups of tea and a cup of coffee at Lydd with my mate Vic.

I also had a red bounty at Lydd.

optomistic - 17 Apr 2005 00:07 - 3416 of 24230

Space, you are all alone in here. Must be 'Saturday night at the movies' What do they fly from Headcorn, and Lydd, is that an airfield? I'll just have a nightcap whilst I see if you are still around tonight.

optomistic - 17 Apr 2005 00:18 - 3417 of 24230

Ah well, night cap finished, Goodnight to any late night revellers that may pass this way.
