am happy to run the profits for now

Hang on...the blunderer is suggesting taking profits.....

Proselenes - 22 Oct 2010 09:56 - 344 of 3002

LOL - I am not suggesting taking profits, its just cynic always goes mental at people for not taking profits and now appears not to want to take profits.

Strange.......

cynic - 22 Oct 2010 10:21 - 345 of 3002

the difference is that i can watch all throughout the day, except when i am travelling, and XEL (and EO for that matter) are low risk especially when compared to FI E&P companies and similar

finally, i don't have loony exposure to either, albeit that both are o'weight in my portfolio

I'll be fair to Prosels...he spotted this and I had a good look as well....so I say bravo for being one of the first on this....just praying that they come up with the goods...should do as this has already flowed...fingers crossed....

required field - 22 Oct 2010 10:35 - 347 of 3002

Holy cow !...140p.....great jumping barnacles....

Proselenes - 22 Oct 2010 10:36 - 348 of 3002

Now a 7 bagger for me, 20p to 140p

Hoping for 400p late Nov/early Dec on good news. Keep them fingers crossed.

23p for me....well done on this one...incredible...bravo to Shares magazine who highlighted it even before I think....

Proselenes - 22 Oct 2010 14:08 - 350 of 3002

Doing a lot of things with this vertical well.

..........."Xcite also plans to tag an upside structure play potentially seen on 3D seismic with this well and, if the 3D interpretation is confirmed, this would increase the best estimate contingent resources to 235mmbbls. In addition, Xcite plans to test for the presence of a tar mat at the base of the reservoir using core samples from the well, also providing potential for yet further recovery............."

Fabulous week here as well...

Proselenes - 24 Oct 2010 03:38 - 353 of 3002

For those in doubt or any newbies, worth watching the summer interview again with Rupert Cole :

Excellent update. I think there is considerable upside to the recoverable oil and therefore the target prices.

????....holy.....goodness....

cynic - 25 Oct 2010 08:18 - 356 of 3002

what is extraordinary is that the volume traded today is still only 600k

required field - 25 Oct 2010 08:28 - 357 of 3002

Correct me if I'm wrong : they have discovered more oil than expected ?...is that it ?..

required field - 25 Oct 2010 08:35 - 358 of 3002

Where is everybody ?.....

Balerboy - 25 Oct 2010 08:37 - 359 of 3002

hope it will continue to build between now and end of November.....what price then if good flow rates achieved??

cynic - 25 Oct 2010 08:40 - 360 of 3002

yes RF - exactly that .... XELd are you (sorry about that!)?

required field - 25 Oct 2010 08:42 - 361 of 3002

Good flow...perhaps in excess of 250p....I'm just guessing...don't forget this is heavy oil and has to be warmed up a little...Schlumberger said the previous well would have achieved 4000 barrels with the right equipment...so a lot more perhaps now...and I wonder whether they have both sorts of oil here....whatever the case this looks fantastic for Xcite Energy !...
