Morning All,
I'm for a large pot of tea and a danish, none of that saturated fat and cholesterol for me today. Going to have a healthy day :-)

stockbunny - 19 Apr 2005 10:07 - 3462 of 24230

Can I tempt you to a grilled grapefruit and meusli?

jj50 - 19 Apr 2005 10:10 - 3463 of 24230

Stick to the danish, opto! LOL

Nice to see you in early bunny. Getting
back to your real work :-)

optomistic - 19 Apr 2005 10:15 - 3464 of 24230

Morning Bunny and jj, yup I'm just going to have the danish thanks.
Telewest tell me they are doing work on the system and emails may be hard to access. Anyone else on Telewest?

stockbunny - 19 Apr 2005 10:17 - 3465 of 24230

LOL so true JJ, so true! How's you today?
And after the fall-out of yesterday there's just a bit of work to do!
Just re-read the above and thought I should have put
"grilled grapfrit"
in true Fawlty Towers tradition.
(Actually a grilled grapefruit or grapfrit, is nice if you sprinkle
a little brown sugar on the top first and leave it under the grill to
melt and almost caramalise - sweetens the grapfit nicely!)
:>)

jj50 - 19 Apr 2005 10:22 - 3466 of 24230

Shall give it a go bunny but as far
as my kids are concerned, wid be a
revolutionary way to serve grapefrit!!

Did some DD fishing yesterday that are
turning blue now - about time too.

Off to have the hair cut now. Thinking
of something new and drastic :-)

Enjoy the danish opto :-)

stockbunny - 19 Apr 2005 10:25 - 3467 of 24230

Good luck JJ!
RRS up 11p - happy bunny :>)
Hope they sort your email fairly quickly Opto, or your inbox will
be groaning! LOL

optomistic - 19 Apr 2005 10:38 - 3468 of 24230

It's a Telewest problem Bunny, nothing I can do about it :-(

stockbunny - 19 Apr 2005 10:43 - 3469 of 24230

I know Opto - email rec'd promptly and reply despatched
from the burrow
:>)

stockbunny - 19 Apr 2005 11:50 - 3470 of 24230

After having their 11th child, an Irish couple decided that
>was enough, as they could not afford a larger bed. So the
>husband went to his doctor and told him that he and his wife didn't want to
>have any more children.
>
>The doctor told him there was a procedure called a
>vasectomy
>that would fix the problem but it was expensive. A less costly
>alternative was to go home, get a firework, light it, put it in a beer
>can, then hold the can up to his ear and count to 10.
>
>The husband said to the doctor, "B'Jayzus, I may not be the
>smartest guy in the world, but I don't see how putting a firework in
>a beer can next to my ear is going to help me."
>
> "Trust me, it will do the job", said the doctor.
>
>So the man went home, lit a banger and put it in a beer
>can. He held the can up to his ear and began to count: "1, 2, 3, 4, 5 .
>. .
>"
>
>At this point, he paused and placed the beer can between
>his
>legs
> so
> he could continue counting on his other hand.
