Very interesting - Under the agreement with the Puntland
Government, Range is obtaining a 100%
working interest in the offshore extension of
the highly prospective Nugaal Basin.
To meet its commitments for the 10,000km
block, the Company will commit to a 2D seismic
program within the first three years, with
further 3D seismic and an exploration well to
follow in the second three year period.
Range has also committed US$5 million, for the
tarmac sealing of an airport runway in Puntland
at the Government’s direction.

Range has been approached by a number of
parties with a view to farming in to the block
given the success to date of Shabeel-1.

Like a lot of posters are saying the company would not go on the front of a high profile magazine and then announce bad news. I would not of thought so anyway.

On the Horn front closed at 1.72 -0.04 -2.27% not to bad on a bad day all round.

Oilies are risky.....but if and it's a big if they hit a strike...boy....you can make up losses on others....I'm convinced that amongst this little group of RRL and (RMP and HORN) and FOGL (perhaps BOR), MXP, CHAR, TRP...we shall have a major crude hit !.....or several....!...we might ad to this list PVR and FPM...in the longterm...

Did you have Horn rf. I have rrl and rmp and Tangiers (bit early for Tangiers but this company could come good in time, PL must think so.

I don't have HORN...I might need access to the North American markets for that which I don't think I have at the moment...in all others you mention.....job to cover all...it becomes too much like gambling......mainly in FOGL who I reckon are going to hit oil or gas very big time !....

Tangiers did not fall today, mind you perhaps its fallen enough. Sellers seem to be drying up, just needs to start drilling later on in the year.
