looks like its hit oil, don't know whats gonna happen, any idea's ???

Up 3p, lots of buyers about this morning.

Has anyone any thoughts as to where the share price is heading now? When can we expect this one to push through the 1 mark and head towards 1.50?

LONDON (AFX) - Northern Petroleum PLC said proved and probable oil reserves estimates for five of its fields in the Netherlands have been upgraded to 11.6 mln stock tank barrels from 8 mln.

The 2P gas reserves were also increased to 364.9 bln standard cubic feet from 85 bln.

Out of the figure, 6.3 mln stb and 210 bscf were proved, according to an audit carried out by independent engineering consultancy group RPS Energy.

The report covered the Andel, Brakel, Geesbrug, Grolloo and Ottoland fields but does not include the Papekop discovery for which Northern has applied for a production license.

Derek Musgrove, the managing director, attributed the hike to better technology and the rise in commodity prices.

'Improvements in reserves have also come from the increase in commodity prices, which improve the economics and enable more reserves to be extracted profitably,' he said.

Never have been one for investing in holes in the ground, but I am so glad I stuck with this. I nearly got out when they consolidated. Would have been another ITV.

It was the same story with CARPATHIAN ORD CPNR a couple of weeks ago it shot to 6.5p now 4.40p May be you should unload some into GOO.

Well, some people will have made four times their money since October. Personally I think this one has a lot more headroom - see post #362. Where do you think the share price will be when they actually start production ???? Unless the bottom drops out of the oil and gas markets simultaneously, I'm holding. IMO/DYOR :o)

With such rapid rises, the price is possibly over-valued now and possibly already priced in. Good luck DYOR

Up 10p today after a 15.5p slide yesterday. Was that just a spot of profit-taking and will the trend continue onward and upward?
