Morning All!
Seems like some of the large investors who have been adding to their stakes in OXB over the last week are speculating that the share price has further upwards momentum in the short and medium term.
According to the Yahoo Finance Website (Detailed Technical Analysis on OXB)
30p per share is a conservative estimate. It would be great if this proves case. Anything above 30p would be good, 35p a bonus and 40p lovely jubbly.

1704 - I have never really made any use of the Yahoo site. How do you get "detailed" technical analysis? I can only find the standard chart etc. when clicking on "technical analysis". Do I have to subscribe?

Good to hear from you again.
I'm not a subscriber to Yahoo Finance Website but browse through it quite reguarly. As far as I know anyone can use it without having to subscribe.
When you enter onto the Yahoo Finance website look at the top page on the left hand side and enter quote and then the symbol OXB and click on go. This should
enable you to enter onto the OXB page.
This page has different sections on the left hand side which are as follows
Historical Prices
Charts
Basic Chart
Technical Chart
Technical Analysis
Detailed Data
You will need to click on Detailed Data to see the page I was commenting on earlier today.
I'm popping out for Lunch now and I ain't going to Greggs Bakery for usual filled roll I'm booking a taxi to San Lorenzo's to make my face known to the staff. If OXB makes half of the resistance levels I will be dining there regularly. Well according to Gabriel 'Dreams can come true'. Reality says they usually do not.
Does anyone use Technical Analysis comments or charts to play a role in their investment decisions. Any comments welcome later. Taxi! Taxi!

1704 - you will probably lose your patience with me as this point (!) but when I follow that route I end up with url - http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=oxb.L - which gives me a few options on the left side of the page but "detailed data" is not one of them. Could you give me the url that gives OXB detailed data and I can then work backwards from there. Hope you have a good lunch.

No problem! I'm just puzzled why your still having problems. If you just write in the the word Yahoo Finace and click on search about 6 options should show up and then you should click on Yahoo Finance (share prices etc.)
I'm not too skilled with this I.T. m'larkey otherwise I would send you the link to click on. If anyone else has been able to view the Detailed Data page under the Technical Analysis heading on OXB on this website could you verify what I saw or better still send over the link for others to view.

Hi Everyone,
I would just like to add my tuppence worth. I've read quite a lot of the Yahoo
technical analysis summaries, and they read very much as if they automatically generated. If you look at a lot of different charts, you'll see identical phrases used again and again, and sometimes it's just horribly incorrect.
I may be wrong, but i'd be wary about investing money based on the output of a computer alogrithm.
Cheers,
Mark.

mcp2 - it is simply one more source, but not to be relied upon too much. Investtech.com used to have similarly analyses but nowadays you have to subscribe to get access to it. It is certainly true to say that the TA is automatically generated and is therefore more questionable than personal TA which takes account of RSI, Stochastics etc - I am just a bit lazy sometimes.

Missed your earlier post but agree with the points yourself and Pachandl raised. However, the Technical Analysis Summary on OXB (Yahoo Finance Website) is definetly correct to state that the share price is in a rally. How long the rally lasts is any one's guess.
Personally I would not solely use Technical Analysis Summaries on companies to make an investment decision but I think they can be useful source of information. With the current levels of trading in OXB I reckon the current support level of 17p and resistance level of 97.25p is spot on.
I would be happy to see the share price reaching 30p in the short term and agree with Robstuff and others that the current share price undervalues OXB.
Any comments welcome.

Had a lovely lunch today in the Restaurant I was talking about. However, a woman from Essex walked in covered in blood. A man sitting at a table near to me announced that he was a Doctor and asked woman where she is bleeding from.
The woman replied Romford mate.
Great to see the colour blue and see the share price continuing to move upwards. Over the last 14 days the share price has risen by 38.57%. Lets hope it continue this upwards momentum for the remainder of the week.
Come on my son.

I saw the above notification that you mention and yes the share price may drop tommorrow morning? There again it may not? I noticed that the last trade today was a buy of 250,000. Do not be surprised to see Man Financial Limited or some of the other institutions who have been recently increasing their holdings snapping up a lot of the shares that Prelude Trust previously held.
I do not see the above as a negative at all. The price has risen by 7.78% since the 24th Jan 05 and Prelude Trust have still retained the majority of their holding in OXB. It would have slightly worried me more if they sold all their holding.
Fred 1 Nice try but you will have to try harder than that to dampen my spirits.

Fred - Prelude has made no secret of the fact that they have wanted to off-load their holdings - this has dampened the sp for a few months now. I am looking forward to the time when they have completely sold out - thereby eliminating the current overhang.

I hope that it will recover more quickly as I have a holding in them. We wait and see for a while. But at 25p there may be some resistance to overcome. It will be interesting to-morrow.

Stupid question probably but if OXB are complying with LSE merger rules by making their regular announcements re no of shares in issue, AND the original rns talked of a "merger", why is there not another Bio company that is also making the same sort of announcements?
