Is RAB the one who has been dumping ?

The RAB fund that is getting restructured and sold out is the Special Situations and in 2008 it held a good few million RKH, which would have been diluted down since the lock in period by the later placings.

Looks like they know the selling is winding down, so time for them to stop shorting........

The Barman has just told me One Legged Pete has acquired a new guitar. Pete has decided to go solo with a new multi-track album.

Otherwise the Barman continues to travel to the Four Floors Bar. He will arrive on Thursday in plenty of time with his date who is a bright girl.


So is that :

RKH have decided to take on a new rig (not the OG) and are going solo, which means the OG demob costs will be split very soon by RKH/DES.

Multi-well deal with new rig. Going solo allows them to later sell slots to DES/ARG for their share of mob/demob costs and time.

Drill bit heading down to the 4 targets in Ninky (who is a bright girl) and expect to be into the first potential pay area, or under the seal, on Thursday.

??? Who knows, not me.

Times today apparently mentions potential PMO interest in Rockhopper.

RKH could do with a cash rich farm in partner, get Sea Lion into production quicker and allow RKH to go exploring more.

So a deal on Sea Lion would make sense, farm it out and let someone else put it into production, whilst you retain a nice lump, and go off exploring for more finds.

PMO would not want to buy more North Sea would they ? Like EO. or something.

A move to the Falklands for PMO, farm into Sea Lion and get it into production whilst allowing RKH to go explore and find more oil would be the way to go.

Perhaps why the next 3 appraisal wells are proving up the P90 and flowing it again, allowing that area to get fast tracked into production and allowing a farm out, therefore allowing RKH to get going on exploring the south and the north backed up by Sea Lion present P90 going into production with PMO as operator but with RKH still having a significant interest.

One can wonder now.

Rumours of oil in the upper sand for DES.

Could be a very good sign if true, but then, its only rumours.......

Looks like DES have found oil then :)

Oil stocks weak today due to falling oil prices and markets in the red.

But.... could be a strong DES/RKH/ARG end of this week and next week :) !!!!

gclark25 / wine-stock / borgo ARE ALL confirming strong oil shows for Ninky drilling in the 1st target zone of the 4.

Looks like it could well now be very good news coming, bring it on next week :)

Seeing as pro starts most rumours.....no surprise to him then.,.

borgo just posted on III, DES drill is over, initial logs run and result is good. Expect RNS Tuesday or Wednesday.


So, a "good" result means at least something positive, we shall see the reality when the RNS comes out. Monday could be interesting now.

As ever, DYOR and do not trust anyone !

An extra 1.5m DES shares were shorted on Wed and Thu, taking the total to 13.5m shares shorted on DES at Thursday close.

I would guess some closed on Friday but there is a lot of stock outstanding.

Obviously the big shorters are hoping for pre-emption rights in the coming placing so they can close their shorts with new stock from the placing.

However there is going to be a few million of shorts that will have to close on any good news, so Monday and Tuesday could be "spikey" on DES........ :)

Good news from DES and RKH should see a nice spike upwards as well, and of course ARG :)
