strange things happening here today ...... clearly very strong performance, but trades here show only 4.5m traded, but L2, which will be real time and much more accurate, shows 15.5m traded - daily norm is about 6.5m.
i guess the implication is that someone is buying a very large slab which is currently only partially filled.
any other ideas?

I'm praying that there is some black stuff at the bottom otherwise it will go back to 25p......very difficult to stay put now....I did sell some earlier (10 %).....the craziest thing is that this could go all the way up close to a pound before any discovery is announced.

Just seen buys at 51p....makes me regret my sale at 41.25 this morning....but you have to take profits in this business....anyway still loaded with this stock....and tomorrow might see more of the same.

i too sold at 41.25 this am.:( though a profit is only a profit when when it is banked.
i think i will have to revisit my 20% profit and sell rule [well with this stock any way as it keeps on going and going]
long may it continue
good luck to all

For those with a long memory; a couple of years ago Northern Petroleum (NOP) drilled a wildcat well on the Isle of Wight and the sp rocketed ahead of testing and then disaster the well was dry....the sp crashed....got my fingers burned...I hope the same does not arise here.

i am all too well aware of those sort of disasters ..... it's the massive volume that is potentially interesting, though Trades here seem to have "lost" 10m!

chartwise we have a daily breakaway gap followed by what is often referred to as a halfway gap which if it continues to conform? should move up another 50% from that level which then ought technically be followed by an exhaustion gap, i.e. the top is close. not wise to be drawn into buying into this usually, but then thats the theory only, also seems to confirm the parabolic rise theorists.( and the gravity theorists?) please dyor. not in but interested to see what happens.

if you dyor you will be able to see that what i am suggesting from a chartist point of view is not at all gibberish. i could spell it all out to everyone, if price gets here and does this then that etc. if i did where is the dyor ? half way from the breakaway gap isnt dificult to calculate is it?

edit that should be an equal amount from the 2nd gap, not halfway, as that gap is halfway, apologies. my first post is specific.

i have a large gap between the ears, as most peeps here know full well ..... if you are saying ride the momentum, then you may be right, though this stock has had one hell of a rise, even since the rns in early august, with no clue as to why

you are right, i am making no predictions therefore i may be offering a politician's response.
i dont know what will happen but think it might be best if all others know the possibilities of which there are many, if this then that etc. it's up to each individual to decide for themself.
maybe the chart may just give an insight into that "no clue as to why" maybe not, but at least it offers an alternative consideration.

in that case old son, your "gibbersih" could have been simplified by stating, "This share could go up or it could go down. Pays your money; takes your choice" - i.e. you haven't a clue either, just like the rest of us
