If they can get these fields drilled and come up with decent drilling results then I think they may become a takeover target. I just mentioned 2 possible scenarios where deals similar to today's may happen this year. Of course we all know that there is much more going on in other areas that I didn't mention.
SWW, you wouldn't be talking of Bob Dylan by any chance! The times they may be a changing indeed!
New website up and running, just went live today I think, MUCH better than the last one and finally gives details of the company's operations.

Sterlings web site has been improved as promised by Harry Wilson.
Much better.
They have a heck of a lot on the books for ongoing operations, some I had forgotten, or did not know about.

The new website is indeed a massive improvement over the last one. So much info on there regarding the areas of operation, an issue i'd mentioned to them a couple of times. I like the detail they have put on the site regarding operations.

Well at last it would appear things are starting to move. You've got to have patience with this one. I'm down The Red Lion tonight downing a few pints of Stella. What ever you get up to this weekend, have a good one.

gavdfc, nearly every share mag or tipster I have read recommend SEY I haven't seen bad press on the company, as for Me a pint or two of ESB or Abbott ale will go down a treat to celebrate SEY & the gunners winning.

Snatched from TMF, has no link but this is what it says.
Evolution have updated their comment on Sterling(SEY) post the Dome Flore farmout. They have this to say...
This deal is yet another demonstration of Sterling's management's innovative approach to portfolio management, minimising costs and creating value for shareholders.
The value to Sterling could be considerable in our most recent NAV and EMV calculation we attributed 1.8p/share of value to these reserves based on 500m barrels in place at 20% recovery factor risked at 50%. The increase in the reserves to 800m and recovery factor (still conservative at 25%) increases this to 4.8p/share and our group NAV core plus risked EMV of exploration rises to 29.5p/share.
