THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Dear Sirs,
I wish to complain in the strongest possible terms about the blatent ramping on this thread.
There are certain characters, whom I suspect of multiple aliases, shamelessly pumping and then dumping their pet subjects. I will profer two examples for your immediate investigation.
The individual, Chocolate, who talks up food constantly, to the point where newcomers to this thread are salivating wildly, whereupon Chocolat dissappears without a trace, leaving them ravenous. The dump part of this scam, comes form chocolat then selling food from their position as waiting staff at McDonalds in Bermondsey.
I cite BHunt1910, who accesses humour through his spinning of ripping yarns and lists of one line asides. When the thread is full of people sharing humour and it is in much demand he is gone, and returns under his aliases of ii or blinger with the accompanying vacuum of humour, and drains all the poor punters who are left of anything more amusing than a wet weekend in Rhyll.
These are shameless scams, which is putting the good name of MoneyAM at serious risk. I abhor their methods and demand that action is taken immediately.
Yours,
Angry of Leeds.

Sorry guys, but reading the other threads I thought we were starting to get a little left out.

sarkee - 23 Jan 2006 09:06 - 3600 of 81564

Looks like Prezza in Drag !!!!

hewittalan6 - 23 Jan 2006 09:07 - 3601 of 81564

I'm just gratefull for the picture you posted, Jimmy. Given the type of picture you normally post I had visions of you typing "pump and dump" into the search and god only knows what you may have ended up posting........................
I am fed up of it too, and e-mailed IanT the other day to ask him to get a grip of it, before it ruined sensible debate. I can just about stand the bashing styles that appear on SEO etc. but the crap going on around SueHelen on one thread and Dil on others is bloody laughable. I seriously thought THIS was going to be the only sane thread left!!!!!

kimoldfield - 23 Jan 2006 09:09 - 3604 of 81564

Alan,

There's nothing amusing about a wet weekend in Rhyl.
There's nothing amusing about a dry weekend in Rhyl.
There's nothing amusing about Rhyl.
Although, maybe Anne Robinson might find it amusing.

This thread is amusing whether wet or dry.

only been to rhyl once...........................and once was enough.

kimoldfield - 23 Jan 2006 10:03 - 3606 of 81564

If I ever need cheering up I always go to Rhyl for the day.
It cheers me up to think that I don't have to live there.

Ah Bermondsey, famous for its 1983 by-election - which leads me to the OMRLP's immortalisation of the inflatable banana

Whatever next?

and anyone?

I like the way you're thinking, Alan.

hewittalan6 - 23 Jan 2006 11:48 - 3608 of 81564

Nobody has ever accused me of thinking.
That, Sir, is a downright slur on a character previously unblemished by any hint of cerebral machinations. Never have I knowingly posted anything that could be remotely linked to sapient processes and I demand you withdraw the libelous comments with reference to any cognitive capacity at all on my part!!

A little boy walks into his parents' room to see his mom on top of his dad
bouncing up and down. The mom sees her son and quickly dismounts, worried
about what her son has seen. She dresses quickly and goes to find him.

The son sees his mom and asks, "What were you and Dad doing?"

The mother replies "Well you know your dad has a big tummy and sometimes I
have to get on top of it to help flatten it."

"You're wasting your time," said the boy.

"Why is that?" asked his mom, puzzled.

"Well when you go shopping the lady next door comes over and gets on her
knees and blows it right back up.
