Amazing how Directors buying not much more than a few bob's worth of stock is Big News - pardon me but it isn't - when they buy, say 50k each that is News! but they'd soon lose that.
Too many Options, this business - and little to show for it over the last SIX years -unless you track the sp from 5 to about 25pence before this cynical raid by Directors. I wonder if they are softening up the Market for a cash-call at 25p?
Oh deary me and I bought-in (recently)......after selling at just under 1.....
Is their wonder Gear-box dead? No but the folk pushing it are about to retire on fiull-pensions, paid-for by investors........read MUGS.........Grr.

greekman - I am sorry to learn that you have sold - still, I trust that you will consider the company afresh in times future. (You might remember me as EJ from another site).
If the sp rises only another 45p, then I will break even. Looks as if I can afford to wait a little longer as there is no expiry date in my birth certificate.

Hi B and T,
Yes, I do remember you, as EJ. Money now tied up in other things. Still I hope Torotak comes good, and all of you still in make some profit.
Cheers Greekman

TRK has been moving up several days now - what's up Doc?
Anyone heard...or is this continued speculation that both Ford and Toyota will be using TRK boxes? Forn because they want to improve efficiency and Toyota because they were interested some (6 was it?)years ago.
Well I doubt both ideas - Toyota are well-capable of developing their own transmissions and having a TRK patent would be an iritatiion IMHO. Ford are too big to let a tiddler rule their production, so whatever they do (to achieve ecomomy) it is unlikley to involve TRK - I still think TRK will surprise us (if they don't run out of cash first!)... by comming to Martet wilth a car/offroader/commercial that is made by someone we don't recognise - TATA or further East would have little to lose and much to gain by having a technology that other makers can't replicate....thereby creating an invisible barrier to entry (as it were)....the likes of Ford and Toyota (or BMW etc) have too much to lose and would prefer to keep any costs "in-house"
All IMHO. as ever. I hold a few TRK in an ISA (whoops!).
As I see it any technology that means nervous drivers can drive Auto and entusiastic drivers can get another 30% acceleration has to be a "wonder" product . . . but TRK had Big-Name ambitions and this is their downfall to date. Deals with "mower makers" is good not for the numbers, but because it signals (now) they don't mind WHO they deal with. Could be a nice earner, too.
Long-standing TRK investors need some serious deals soon, or else it's all over, don't you think?

We seem to have 'lift off'. I don't see any news. Any ideas?
